yep really alien, I've tried putting it in gear so many times without depressing the clutch I've lost count this morning I actually got it in reverse and it stalled so I sat there scratching my head for a few seconds then it clicked "oh shit yeh, there's a clutch" thanks for the kind comments guy really makes worth while.

Well you lot that have read My build thread will know I've just changed my auto box to a 6speed manual box...... Well, I've only just noticed but my turbo is spooling alot sooner I'm not complaining "who would" but it's alot sooner it used to start to spool up about 2200rpm now it's starting at about 1700rpm. Now I thought only hybrid ct9 did that is it possible or have I unleashed something special. Or have I miss read the facts.

yeh micky the shaft for the auto and maunal are the same and the shafts i got with the 6speed box were the same as my auto ones, but the 6speed shaft didnt have the abs rings on them so i just used my auto ones if ya get me!. If your going from manual 5 to manual 6 you dont need to do half as much work as i did, it'll be as simple as swaping boxes and then swaping out the gear shifter/cables. Theres a few g6's being broken on fleebay atm to. I would recomend it, the acceleration is emence even on standard boost but at 70 in 6th the engines revving just over 3k not sure what its like in a 5spe

yeh i just checked and had 2lt left in the tub but got to check levels yet to make sure its ok after being run

1.9lt for gear box and i had some engine oil spare out of a 5lt tub

Is smoke coming from exhaust or from engine as you might haves oil leak from feed or return on turbo and dipping on the exhaust

the odometer and speedo are all one unit you just need to change the face of the speedo did you fit the new face or was it already on? As the original face might be under the new one.
