  6. Cheers guys, patience is the main thing especially doing it a day here a day there, some times not touching If for weeks at a time tis been off the road since dec 2011 so about a year and a half now. It should be worth it though. Lol Car revs as It should now after re-wiring the tps. Just the rear plate to and the avcr to mount. Then fingers crossed for tomorrow
  7. Sorry xpect the honest answer is I don't know. It's from a Peugeot I'm waiting for a friend to confirm what it is from the part number. So once I know more ill let you know. Rob
  8. Think its tps related so ill try and sort that maybe in the morning. Try a different tps or test the wiring or both.
  9. Yes it's quality mate just like his dads. Spoke to some insurance companies today. Should get that sorted tomorrow and its in for Mot on Saturday. Nearly there.
  10. Cheers guys ive not checked for error codes. Ill check the tps next time I'm down. Any other suggestions?
  11. I've seen a couple of 4e's where the coolant pipe from the pump that runs across the back of the block has split bit it's hard to see it just keep that in mind.
  12. Yes you can just join the wires which are the same together. As for the plug in the foot well I couldn't find the relevant plug either so socks came over to give me a hand and wired wired it. You will have some spare plugs under the dash some of the wires will match the wires in the loose plug. From Memory it's just a case of joining them together. If in doubt we tested tll the wires in the plug with a multimeter if it was earthed we left it if there was no circuit we fed 12v to it to see what it did. It was mainly rear lights, no plate lights etc. What have you don't about the roof loom?
  13. When you drive or rev the sr if you plant your foot it revs a little then cuts if you keep you foot in the bounce until you ease off, but if you ease your foot in it revs fine. I got a little vid to show what I mean. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/rob_bower/30D87A72-AD33-4AD9-B665-2CE6DE1602EB-35621-000013C8823A5CF4_zps1890ac87.mp4 Any ideas? As I'm stumped. Rob
  14. Cheers guys not stopping there. Today I managed to finish work a few hours early so I managed to get done some more jobs done, with the aid off my little helper Dash back together So it's all back together I just have a small issue, with acceleration and pulling away. When you plant the foot it dies by dies but I'f you ease it in its fine. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/rob_bower/30D87A72-AD33-4AD9-B665-2CE6DE1602EB-35621-000013C8823A5CF4_zps1890ac87.mp4 Only a few jobs left to do ill be ill be phoning about insurance, wahoo .
  15. Cheers guys there's alot that'll need refining and touching up but its getting there. Need one more day then hopefully it'll be back together. Just need to sort this hesitating and get it insured. Might phone round tomorrow and see what they say. Need another bumper to as I'm not happy with this one but its ok to get it back out and the gaffa tapes not a bad colour match. Lol The clocks ticking! 10 days!
  16. Not had much chance to work in this but I had Sunday all to myself as MrsB and George were off out for the day so myself, Ro55ifumi and socks attacked it for a few hours well over 20 man hours in total lol, so here is the progress, First job was to re-seal the weeping sump a long and arduous job lying on your back scraping silicon off the bottom of the block. Cleaimg all the grease off and sealing it back up. Whilst I was doing that John removed the rear beam ready for the glanza rear beam which I've had waiting to go on for a few years, that doesn't sound alot but when that involves remov

    N/A alternator

Glands ones for to if that helps. As long as its the same plug, there usually oval.
  19. It has been towed back with the strap on the diagonal and its fine, I just un bolted the original tow hook then used the original mount hole for the strap. I tried pulling the strap at all dufferent angles the bumper flexes a little but nothing major. I've mounted the front to the front chassis arm to. The hardest part was marking where to make the cut outs. Does yours mount to the original mount then go down and under the bumper and lip? Ill get some better pics on Sunday when I'm at the garage.
  20. Well its there or no where now as everywhere else is full bar Okayama down the arse end. There's alot of factors to the dust though. Or rain direction of wind. Etc it might not be as bad as you think.
  21. Lol That would be epic. Just one will fo though.
  22. I mounted mine and made a little cut out in the bumper.
  23. No I know dude and a little dampening down should reduce this issue. I'm on it
