That isn't a coolant temp sensor that is a fan switch. The coolant temp sensor is either (depending on the cross over) a green 2 Pin or a grey 3 pin triangular one. If its the green 2 pin then there is a 2nd sensor wich has a spade type terminal. My 99 sr had the triangular 3 pin. To wipe the error codes remove the ecu fuse for 20-30 mins. Hth

Anything starting from 7 in a morning till 12 midnight. Anything between 8 and 12 hours depending. No regularity 5 out of 7. For instance this week Thursday to wed I worked 7-3 off off 7-3 11-9 3-12 some times I finish at midnight and I'm back there at 7. I really need a new job. Lol

I only have one baby but the starlet is far from ideal getting him in the back in his car seat is very hard work. We also have an eu civic same as the ep but 5 doors and that's amazing. It's huge in the back, easily seat 3 adults. Worth a look.

CJ Performance - Where We Stand...

I have heard that James has been in touch with a customer who bought the coilies to say his are being dispatched. -
This on the gt or n/a nick? Either way the temp gauge runs off 2 sensors the green coolant temp sensor and another smaller spade terminal type connector and from memory they both run to the ecu then the gauge so as above check connections and wires. If its on the n/a let me know and ill send the relevant wiring diagrams over. Rob

The one on the right is the coolant temp sensor the one on the left Is the rad fan switch the small spade terminal is the other coolant temp sensor and both feed the ecu. On later models they have a 3 pin triangular temp sensor these do the job of both temp sensors I've got a brand new temp sensor somewhere and I've probably got a fan sensor plug to on a spare loom. Ill try and have a look at some point. Hth Rob

No you haven't missed it ive been a bit slack what with the little man and trying to get the car finished. Tickets are £30 per person for entry to the club stand. That includes entry for all days and camping. The show opens on Thursday evening this year, and all tickets will be delivered to your door. You can arrive on any day of the show and join the club stand as long as you have bought your ticket through the club. Ill update this properly when I get chance to sit at the laptop.

rob_bower replied to shorty's topic in Ignition & Fueling
I know dude it's frustrating especially when it should be straight forward. But wait to gear back from Ricky before you go drilling or chopping up. Hope its a simple fix or something. Ill leave it open incase others are I'm the same boat or can help. As long as no one starts a slagging match that is. Rob -
Ill be at the travelodge as we'll have the little one with us.
