lost a hell of a lot of coolant from the engine today

yeh that was me then it happened ;lol i think i know what caused it i changed the oem pipe that goes between rad and overflow bottle and the pipe was a little kinked so i guess pressure built up and it just shot its load from the overflow bit. temp never went past half way normal temp car is running fine today didnt race anyone on the way home today though lol i need to clean my engine bay up now. so if the overflow pipe between the rad and overflow was kinked could this be the culprit hope i aint done the head i have no milkyness and no rad bubbling she still seems sweet. -
i was racing a porsh cayman s today and well it all ended in tears lol was doing up to around 150mph average 140 was fun at the time any way i travelled may be 10 miles home after this raceing and parked the car up and noticed what looked to be ribena on the wing, i put my finger in it n smelt it straight away i realised it was coolant checked under the bonnet and omfg was it a mess the overflow bottle was full to the top and the rad was half empty? the coolant had gone everywhere took it to my friends we drained the coolant and refilled the rad and topped up with fresh coolant checked the o

true and a lot less hassle just i dont know if there will be enough differece with a ct9 hybrid im used to the power on it now and im bored its 190 at 0.9 i dont know what hybrid to go for and if there will really be a difference?, 2 of my friends local not on the forum are using a ct9 hybrid from universal turbos and the sound a pull from them is pretty good most people on here go for a tongs but the only difference in reading the description is that it has a bigger inlet i cant see how that will produce more power with it just having a bigger inlet plz correct me if im wrong?

i dunno, im just asking tryin to throw this together cheaply whats the point in paying 500 for a hybrid ct9 if i can throw on a td04 for £600-700. heres a big question if i wanted to keep my arc tmic lol can i do it, i know heat soak etc but how and where would i get a pipe route for that lol

hi i get the basics i will need a mani + tdo4 turbo i have read you need the turbo rotating why is this and how do you do it? oil + water lines where do you get them from? i understand you will need a ecu- i have a jam ecu and am thinking of trying it with this air filter piping? these are the minimum requirements above i guess? Now can you run 1bar with standard injectors standard internals ? what other requirements would you need for budget td04 upgrade? thanks all

Had 150 on a very large downhill stretch but have heard few horror stories of people shooting rad caps almost through their bonnets at these speeds?

i think these ecu are wicked but im using the arc tmic my boost is set to 0.9 when it creeps to a bar at 5k i get a reall big kick of power sorta like v tec engine lol -

plugged in in and ragged the tits of it for 200 miles or so done the trick just fine no probs -
that looks real nice man did u have any problems with the bumper rattling i guess it was now held on by say 5 bolts? looks real good with the 97 bumper

i used to have a xr3i cabby and i had similir smoke issue was bit grey the smoke and was valve stem seals but havent heard much about them failing on the starlets

clutch and gearbox problems again

what clutch you using my clutch is blitz active and this has a really loud rattle when you put foot on clutch, the release bearing is meant to be like this, my gearbox is extremely stiff since fitting this and something is definately wrong, i took myn back to the garage today where it was fitted to see what they can do? as no one has a clue about this. -
Can a jam ecu run a td04? Can you use bigger injectors with jam ecu? What power could be achieved with jam ecu + td04? If i were to use a td04 with the jam ecu on a standard engine is there anything thats is must have for spec list i undestand basics like fuel pump, but what about injectors + stuff? Does anyone on here know anyone who has had a set up like this? how was it? Was it safe etc? What do you guys think? i know some people have done this but i dont know what other mods they had, and how the car ran + what power they made? Thanks
