hi i no i been on here for while but most time i use me mobile to write sum posts on tue i get me new laptop and will be starting my build thread on my minty fresh grade 4 starlet glanza v the aim is to get this car to ultimate road spec im aiming for as close to 200bhp as possible and will prob keep ct9 but go for a hybrid upgrade from cr turbos for a bargain price of 380 with 1 yr warranty. at the moment the only mods r alloy wheels from dp motorsport with toyo tyre and a set of new bc coilovers from tm developments next i am having the brakes uprated to ebc yellowstuff disks and pads all round plus braided lines and better fluid after that ill prob get the exhaust sorted and am thinkin of goin for a japspeed exhaust. im having few probs with the v mainly turbo problems and sum major boost creep problems which i need to get sorted still bit unclear on what exactly is wrong with it lol but am visiting fuel cut regularly in cold weather yet im boosting to just below 0.8 any ways i will stard the thread on tue and post up sum pics of my ford escort rs turbo my xr3i and my celica as well.

Where is a good honest friendly well priced reliable professional experienced starlet garage in kent . my car is standard and have been having trouble with the boost im looking to mod to 180hp not a hands on guy and i wanna take it sum where good not cowboys i went to tm developments on ova side of essex they seem fairly good but parts are expensive can sum 1 direct me into the light dont wanna get my pants pulled down n e help/ advice would be great

turbo is spooling nicely and can hear the recirculating dump valve its pretty loud but some times the car is not holding boost it increases up the revs but the power is not following sum times this happen sum times it dont the clutch aint slippin have replaced plugs + leads this sorted out misfire but i have not changed the dizzy + rotary arm what could be causing this (boost does not go past 0. need sum help im well confused

thanks guys still bit lost really gonna go to tmd i wanna get 180 bhp reliably if i buy e manage and have no other mod what bhp can i get will it increase performance and can e manage set the boost sorry for noob question im prop lost as where to start with modin the car

WOT ABOUT E MANAGE BLU EVEN THOUGH C R IS COMPLETELY STANDARD CAN THE CAR BE REMAPED LIKE THIS WOT IS PORT THE WASTE GATE WILL THAT COST A LOT ?ÂÂÂ

ok some of u may have seen my post about my juddering problems they where solved by a set of magnecor leads but now i have another problem i deristricted the boost and now the car hits fule cut its boost just past 0.8 and then light comes on when i change pipes back it goes to jus below 0.8 now from what i have red boost creep is a common problem how can i solve this what options do i have i no a relocated air filter gives the same problems but my car is standard i feel bit lost and thought modifying this cars would be fairly simple i phoned tmd today and they said something about porting the wastegate to help resolve this so i need sum help why does the boost creep can i stop this ??? what options do i have??

MINE IS DOIN EXACTLY SAME ITS BOOST CREEP HOW CAN THIS BE SOLVED ? I DID PIPE CHANGE SAME PROBLEM CAN SOME ONE HELP USÂÂÂ

ok gonna try the leads and stuff could it be fuel but ? if i slowly put my foot down feathering throttle i can be alright foot flat and spluters on n off the power some time its fine this car is gettin me down just wanna no wot it is so i can go from there i was gonna be at the meet on fri but am workin :-( sum one help may its fuel cut and im a giant nub cake

it has hesitated on the throttle wen pulling away but i dont think its the same may be it is fuel cut ? car is stock though and no tamperin has took place im so confused but why some times can i drive it happily on hi boost ?ÂÂÂ

safe mate safe makes sense can i go to a toyota main dealer and get diagnostic ?

capital im on my mobile phone mate it crash all time so this is difficult already its fine on low boost it does not juder on tick over just on hi boost it would be fine0puttin it in 5th until turbo hits third green light then juderÂÂÂ

OK PEOPLE THE CAR JUDERS ON HI BOOST 90PERCENT OF THE TIME SUM TIMES ITS FINE IM RUNNING STOCK POWER .8 ON HI I DONT THINK ITS FUEL CUT ITS  GOOD SUM TIMES SOME ONE HELP ME

okay so car is still judderin have now ordered new plugs leads oil filter now here is the best bit the airfilter was perished with chunks missin that my lovely engine has now swallowed hole could this be causing my judder ???? have oredered replacement airfilter but am goin to check all piping from air box and all valves is it possible this could be causing the problem if not sum 1 plz help me caus am gettin fed up with it now

ok mate gonna try leads then i hope it sorts it not gonna be coil or map sensor ? not really am expert on cars so its worryin me some times it fine but it is more on hi boost it ok on low but  jud on low revÂÂÂ

IT JUST HAD A NEW CLUTCH BUT BOTH THINGS MAKE SENSE ANY MORE IDEAS HOW CAN I GET DIAGNOSTICÂÂÂ

ok guys my glanza is judderin badly wen you put your foot down hard on the gas it doesn't really do it on low boost but on hi there a defo problem it seems as though it doesn ingite all the fuel im confused sum times its fine sum times it aint so am running on low boost sum times at idle wen i put my foot down there is a delay/judder wot do you think this could be can a toyota main dealer do a diagnostic on this has ne 1 heard of summinc like this car idles and boost well but it cant cope with the hi boost the boost peaks at 0.8 on hi if there ne one who can help me plz do. 1-2 gear fine then 3rd hi boost sum times judders power on power off then a lot of noise n nothing happening ????
