It is the exact same with my car. I often end up turning the stereo and fans off and sometimes the headlights too when stopped at the lights. I was going to do it yesterday but was pissing down the whole day. Looks the same today aswell.

Hello people! I'm basically wanting a slight increase in power but don't want to be paying allot as one day i will get an ECU. Meanwhile i was thinking of getting a FCD and up the boost to 1 bar and obviously i am going to have to up the fuel aswell. However i don't want the turbo to blow as i will be using the car everyday. Also i don't want to be paying through the roof i know i can get a HKS FCD for about £50 how much is a respectable uprated fuel pump or will standard one we able to fuel 1 bar? (yeeha job) lol

Hey man, That is the exact thing we fixed today on a Diesel Starlet (EP82). The problem we had was the guy tried to put a stereo in. He burnt 7 or 8 wires completely leading to the ignition barrel or around the steering column connectors. We stripped the dash and went onto fault finding and we found all these naked burnt wires. The matey had snipped a wire from where it connects into the male female connector because it kept blowing fuses. All we did is replace all the burnt wires making sure they not touching together and the bit he had cut was for the acutual rear end lighting so we soldered abit of wire and the problem was sorted.

haven't seen you either. at random times the belt squeeks and drops the RPM very annoying because you have to stop the squeeky sound before you drive otherwise you get a constant squeek which isn't good. The car is pretty clean apart from the wheels too much breakdust. lol I haven't seen you much, i've been driving towards... your part of town more.

How can i tighten the alternator belt/pulley what ever. It keeps squeeking and drops the rpm really low when it squeeks sometimes stalling the car. Where can i tighten it from etc? Not had a look yet, will do in the morning.

thats a real nice car, love the fact it is unabused and looks totally mint! My bro had B16a2 (EK9) was a right beast for what they are. Not as fast my starlet though but was fun. It wanted abuse all day lol

i thought all starlets did that. Mine idles at about 1500-1700 and drops as it gets warmer and warmer, doubt it is anything to worry about.
