  3. No probs, I didnt have much clue with electrics either tbh, you just gotta get stuck in lol
  4. Legend Geo!! Gonna be checking mine for definite!!
  5. Its a Glanza, 1.3 turbo they are front wheel drive, 133hp standard LOL only joking, I would question the forged engine and would want to see reciepts for it.
  6. Just about every electric component if not everything in the car will have a ignition live wire so that it comes on with the ignition. Doesnt have to be the actual ignition switch bud

No band wagon jumping to slate/shoot down Nick and Mike. Not fair tbh I have dealt with them, was very sound with me when I have had dealings with them, however I have heard bad things but dont go shooting my mouth off over the forum, if people havent had bad experience with them PERSONALLY then I think they should stay shhhtmmmmm IMO
  8. Just put them in when the car is running? And no, like I said just use the ignition live wire for the hazard switch, people make things out to be so much harder than what they are lol
  9. Right then, spent a few hours on the engine this afternoon, got it stripped down and removed the piston and conrod furthest from the oil pump just to check the shells. Shows a slight bit of wear but nothing major, but the engine is in a manky state inside and out!! So the plan for next weekend is get the rest of the pistons out and get the correct shells ordered up, and thoroughly steam clean/degrease the block and head ready for paint, should look pretty good with the theme same goes for the head get all the valves out, decoked and the head steamed cleaned, order new valve stem seals, may aswell change them going to this extent. The bores look fine aswell but again they will end up being honed seeing as the engine is completely stripped. The sister took a few pics earlier but I will post up some before after ones when more work is done Over and out

Its your fault for buying a disgusting looking car (Y) Sorry but Im not liking this thread can see your pissed off but there is a bit of band wagon jumping going on, be good to hear from Nick and Fern. Shit happens though, try building one yourself, anything can happen, the joys of modified car building.
  11. LMAO ^^^ Thats pretty mental!!
  12. Mate stop being so thick and get some coloured bulbs, jeez
  13. Yea mate they should work fine, the looms dont differ or shouldnt do. You just need to change the bulbs because obviously the 96 spec use clear bulbs where as the reflets use coloured bulbs because the lenses where they shine through are clear.
  14. Ry Im gonna do them black when she aint looking, when the Final Speeds go on there for a bit :D lol
  15. didnt think the green would look that bright looks good though bud, needs some more green
  16. Amber corners or 98 spec ones are the only indicators to have, they looked gash with just clear lenses IMO Shame about the little issues stopping you fit the other bits mate, looks good though Cant believe you wanted to put your headlights on there, they look MINT!!!! lol
  17. Oh my god that second pic! Just looks awsome bud! Black mesh sets it right off. This with Carbon bonnet, top and duck spoiler =
  18. The lip really sets it off bud Loving the sticker bombing too
  19. Looks awsome like that mate tbh, do the tow eye Bronze, be different
  20. I swear some crazy Jap at ZEP was over the UK visiting, popped into halfraud's seen the craze of these carbon effect M3 mirrors yO and decided to buy a couple of sets and took them back to Japan to flog them off as ZEP items Thats the only logical explanation I can come up with LMAO
  21. Get rid of those bump strips and it will look mega
  22. Nice driveway Exhaust looks spot on buddy I can imagine how lush it sounds for some reason lol Beast of a rep
  23. I am also going to be trying to get THE biggest Starlet meet together for August bank holiday (for one of my best mates, a fellow Glanza owner who died in a car crash on that weekend last year) It will include driving along the road and doing a pass of where he died, it is an epic road. This will be put up in a few weeks time
  24. It'll be early afternoon, 5pm was a silly idea lol I'll have a little look for a decent location for us but 1pm sounds like a good time
  25. If your dash mounting them, I would wire them into the hazard switch, my Defi's were wired there. You'll just need a multimeter to test which colour wire is ignition live, I cant remember off the top of my head.
