Asking as I have a stainless Glanza V system and willing to exchange it for a good condition std Glanza V system and money my way If no interest, I'll fit the stainless on with a 200 cell sports cat and an extra 16" free flowing box to keep it a bit quiet and legal.

So would a Glanza V complete exhaust system on a n/a be a good upgrade esp as no cat in it too?

Does anybody know if the std turbo system is larger in diameter than the n/a system and whats the diameter?

Use a n/a with forged internals and steel headgasket, uprated injectors and Corolla inlet. Exhaust manifold go top mount with suitable downpipe so you don't need turbo oil filter relocation and exhaust system again aftermarket - so many available. Suitable clutch and i believe MR-S lsd fits into these gearboxes. Piggy back or standalone to keep it all in check also should have its own built in MAP & knock sensor. And intercooler with pipework. If any above info is wrong, those that have done will correct it. But i'm sure the above should work.

Starlets speedo drive is mechanical. so the difference will be more the faster you go but not by much. Do the correction for 40 and then check with GPS at 30 and 70 which are the most common speed limits. At least you'll know what the errors will be. Also by readjusting the needle position on the speedo, the spring tension will change. So the errors may be even less.

Watching this

Easy to pull off the needle with a fork and push fit it back. Turn speedo needle to 40mph and hold in position with fine needle nose pliers. Remove speedo needle with fork and refit at 30mph. Press firmly to make sure it's fitted properly Job done Go for a drive and check all is ok

UK 98 EP91. Are they +ive or -ive trigger for the central locking? Also where can I connect the module wires to?

Isn't the Corolla throttle body and the EP91 throttle body the same esp in diameter?

Ohh and swapped the alternator from the Glanza because the original was screaming, and although it fits and plugs in and works, its a smaller unit! Couldn't read the amp output, are they different? Left -UK Right - JDM

My alternator has got the dreaded whine! I have found the guide of how to dismantle, but question is, does anybody know where to get the bearings from?

No need to cut as Glanza discs will fit fine in there with slight bending of the cover.

Car paint from Spray Store in Brands Hatch

Paseo dials easy to fit. I have the pin out on this thread. Was easy to follow circuits and repin plugs.

Cheers guys. Cam cover is being prepared too. Same colour but with the colour being carefully rubbed off the highs. Got a replacement alternator but it looks all manky. Love to take it apart and clean it/grit blast the case. Where can I get new bearings and brushes for them?
