hi, ive got a fte yaris and im wanting to go more power with out forging, enzo posted in tech section about this what sort of space is needed for this and could you pm me with a price for the turbo and manifold, and some other bits i.e. wastegate, and wether a ct9 down pipe will fit to this. really considering trying this. im running a M4 Motec and fmic 2.5 inch exhaust all way to back its the larger version im wanting to test

i had this went over injectors and everything, turned out to be just the boost control valve clicking -

hi guys, the yaris is coming on good now, 2.5 inch staright through, motec, fmic, 235lph fuel pump, trd thermostat, . but im wanting to forge and big power time. what dealers do you recommend and prices on the forges, and what turbo! there are so many to go at min, just not sure what to do, prices on that needed also lol thanks dan td012????

there should be no power loss as turbo'd motors dont really need the back pressure like an n/a on valve overlap. ive got a striaght through on mine from the turbo down with a back on the end which sounds awsome on boost, the box rattled it self off the other day and it was unbearable, the noise was so low feq it sounded like a knackered sub. dont do it they sound shite.

if you go with the 5mm spacer just make sure there plenty of avaible threads left for the wheels nuts

for them all to go down together your looking into a body control fuse box for module, i sounds like wiring harness fault to the main fuse box. check for power to the fuses, if its there go onward to the wiring to the modules, motors lights ect, if not trace it back to the main power distribution when checking the fuses did you use a multimeter or just visually checking because some times its hard to see if it breaks

best off swaping all four as the firing wont be balanced it will be more effective on the 2 new ones while the old ones will not be. it will cause a unbalanced running and it the old plugs are that worn there will be excessivly un burnt fuel sat on the piston/valves. with the heat it might be clearing that fuel.

it is sounding like that it is a fault cheers for ythe help guys, need a clutch now soon as i roll on boosst it seams to be revving up high reallly fast, anybody know of a good replacement clutch

about a month when forging these are the con rods needed aswell, im beginning to this ive a boost leak or actuator fault it just doesnt feel like im running that boost

doncaster s.yorkshire, ive got a 3 bar map sensor,is there any signs of the engine going to fail on these or is it just a cough and a bang cheers

i dont know wether its possible, i think i minght have a actuator fault to, ive been speaking to the guy who built the car and he says that the 2 inch intercooler pipes wont help. it doesnt feel like im running that boost, i wanna have a go in a starlet with the same amount of power/boost to compare

im running a ct9, a front mount intercooler and a motec and some supporting mods, 3 map sensor etc... on the last mapping session i was running 1.4bar boost and had the fuel turned up, i want the car to be reliable at this power what do you recommend i uprate. also what spark plugs do you recommend i run at this minute. whats the most power some one has drawn out of a 4e-fte and how????

it got mapped on the road with a motec, what bhp should it be kicking out at 1 bar, its been decated already 2.5" straight through
