  1. Yeah, kick its utter cunt in Cheers folks. I have had S-Bodies for about 7 years now... can't seem to let them go.
  2. Not really, if I wanted a PS13, I'd have bought a PS13. I like my pop ups. There are already a few Sil80's up here in Scotland. That will be cutting it fine me thinks.
  3. Will have to wait and see. I don't think the SXOC day will be happening till the after at least one non private day is held. We wanna see how the events run. Get an idea of numbers etc. When is the first practice day?
  4. Yeah I know. Talking to Jeek at Crail saying we should be able to get a better look at the track in about 6-8 weeks time. Maybe skid on it in 8-10 weeks!!
  5. I know talking about the future is unknown, but the GTROC seem to know what they are talking about concerning their cars. Fair enough, its your opinion, I thought you were going to state facts which I was going to question. I think they have a classic look, like a retro look. Similar to a Mk GT, or a AE86 for example. As for their lack of mass, that simply makes them a better drivers car which cannot be denied. Would you rather have 280hp, 4WD and 1400kg to haul, or 280hp, 4WD and 1500kg to haul... R33 GTSt's were imported because it was the cheapest way to get a Skyline and for folk who d
  6. With the opening of Driftland UK immanent here in Scotland, I've been asked along as a rep for the SXOC to see about private hire of the track. Should be going up in a few weeks to check it out. So it should have a fair bit more action this year!
  7. My comments regarding desireablility were relating to R32 and R33 GTR's. Give it 5 years and R32 GTR's will be worth more than R33 GTR's because they are more desirable. Please enlighten me as to why R32's are half a skyline? I'm curious... If you're singling out a model (GTSt or GTR) please also let me know why. R33's are more common simply because they are cheap, there are very few R33 GTR's about but a metric fuck load of R33 GTSt's about because they sell for sub 3k. R33 GTSt's are chav dream cars, its the cheapest way they can get a skyline.
  8. After getting the car back at the start of May I've been taking it to meets, giving it runs at the weekend etc to see how it feels. So far, so good. Need to give it a service before the Weekender in July and also need fresh rear rubber as you'll see later. No dyno run yet to see the power, but its safe to say at 1.2 Bar the car is fast enough and pulls hard all the way to the redline in every gear! At the weekend temptation was my evil friend and this happened... http://s44.photobucket.com/user/rubix_cube84/media/180sx/IMG_1284.jpg.html'> http://s44.photobucket.com/user/rubix_cube84/medi
  9. TBH you really can't compare the 2 cars.... One is a RWD sports Coupe, the other is a nippy city car... I personally would take the R32 as you can have tonnes of fun in them doing drifting. I dunno what Skyline enthusiats you've spoke to as most I know will slate the R33 first chance they get...its ~100kg heavier than the R32, the R32 is the lightest of the 3 most known models and the rawest drive of them aswell. The R33 is Its fugly as hell, its like the fat uncle know one actually likes. There is a good reason why R32 GTSt's sell for more money than R33 GTSt's... these days. Also,
  10. The only thing it may effect is your fuelling which in turn may make the emissions off causing a fail. Doubt it mind you.
  11. Wonder what Marvel will think of "Craft International" using their character The Punisher's logo LOL I think that person has a lot of time on their hands, however there are some interesting points made in that thing. At the end of the day we're fucked.
  12. Tuning can't starve a component of oil, there has been a failure/blockage and its caused your issues. I'd be looking at all the oil ways and the oil pump.
  13. Yeah and they are shit slow...the Turbo's have VVT as well ;) Also the Autech has the same brakes as the Spec R which are the same brakes as a normal S14/S14a. TBH They aint worth the premium they go for IMO simply because for the same cash you could probably by a Spec S and turbo it. Of course if you want a noisy, slow wasp car that looks really pretty...go for it. You'll find pretty much any modern hot hatch pumping you in a straight line though... that shit doesn't fly in my book...
  14. N/A 15's are shit slow... save the cash and buy a nice well specced UK S14a with a turbo and have fun Its basicly the same car in a different frock.
  15. Faz supplies many of the top UK tuners with genuine Japanese tuner parts. They are good. Been down to their warehouse a few times.
  16. Keep the spoiler... looks wrong without it. Nice clean car though
  17. The MAF the right way round? Do you have a hand commander? Was it in a GT Before and a Glanza now? Is their wiring differences?
  18. Didn't know it was even running July will be too busy for me... got the SXOC weekender to go to!
  19. Only just, I have the file made up of all the parts with prices ready for a breaking thread
  20. Just thought I'd stick a random update post up... I dropped it into Gaz (GI Motorsport) at the end of January to have the bushes changed. A combination of Gaz and Chris having possibly the worst 2 months ever + my car being, well, extremely typical has meant the bushes are not done and the car is choking itself with fuel causing it to idle like crap and struggle to start. Only in the last few days have we managed to get it up and running again. Chris is trying to work out why setting my injectors up as they should be (Nismo 555s) we can't seem to pull enough fuel out at idle to make it not c
  21. It simply means that testers can't say a car is a fail for it not having something it should as standard (seatbelts, seats, PAS etc etc). Which TBH any tester who did fail cars for that should get a boot in the cock. If its not present how can it fail ¬_¬ TBH MOT's don't bother me.
  22. MAF goes in between the Airfilter and turbo. And you need to have some distance between the turbo and the MAF it will cause idling issues. You can run the MAF in the boost pipes, however, they cannot take the pressure and blow the square plastic bit apart at more than a bar of boost.
  23. Wonder whats in it? It sounds like a CA
  24. I wonder if mine counts... I got a 5k loan for my Glanza just under 10 years ago... it started a slippery slope with loans... Only about to get my head above water for the first time in a long while. I've told myself I'm never getting a loan for a car ever again.
  25. Ahhh I stand corrected. The OEM plate recess can hold both JDM tyte plates and UK size ones ;) Gotcha
