Most of our stuff is done using the conversational software on the machines we have (hurco cnc's, and a haas lathe) I don't get the opportunity to make my own stuff as im always busy doing other stuff.
We have one main tool maker and im just a secondary for when stuff gets busy
I'm now starting to look/learn cad and cam software but it's a bit of a learn by doing experience and will be very slow.
Software wise will be solidworks for Cad and onecnc for the Cam aspect.
Starlet parts. I've modded my hubs to fit different bearings so I could use corolla stub axles for my engine swap. I've been meaning to make some wheel spacers but just don't get the time. Done a few little bits but nothing like I would like to. But I don't Get the time to build my confidence up on them as I can go months not using them
Get yourself some cad software for home and a desktop router I used to make spacers etc but can only machine aluminium and tooling block on our machines if you need any models done for car parts I may be able to help

Grass is always greener on the other side.
I work in an injection moulding place doing anything and everything from Machining and tool making to mould setting and programming.
Sounds cool but it's actually pretty boring lol
What programming software do you use plenty of machining work going on sounds good have you made any starlet parts.

-
I did have a brand new ZEP one, but the fitment was horrible so never got it moulded.
Do you still have the mold or any drawings want to try and make a tool for one to fit the ep82.
Sorry just realised you said you didn't get it moulded.
Are these still available to buy in japan

Should be easy to modify by measuring the 82 dash and re modeling it to suite
-
Ok thanks ill give him a PM.
We're the holders only ever for the ep91 can't say I've seen one in a ep82

Cheers for the comments I've done a model of some rotas so going to do them next plus work on rocket cover
-
I wish I could make loads but if I get the spare time to make it I'd be happy to pass to mold on to a trader
-
I'll see if I can model one up this week and make one

Custom Rocker covers for 4e's ;)
Custom machining ie detailing etc could be done but would cost a lot to make a complete rocket cover out of aluminium but a carbon one could be easy to make if it was made from a mold

Finally found a bit of time and made a wheel mold just to trial tooling.
