  1. I have a snap on ratchet that is flexible has got me out the shit a few times, other thing that saved my ass this weekend was sockets with inbuilt uj locked it and used a 3ft extension bar to crack this nut off, note to self never go near megane dci timing belts.

  3. What are you using, theres plenty of tools to aid situations like this, it just depends what you have. sockets with UJ's UJ extension Extension that allows the socket to move some what in each direction moon spanners all sooooorts!!!

  9. as above 2.4bar below fuel cut boost level and the car will fuel itself safely in theory

  11. well, unless your going with a more powerful set up and pushing the barriers a standalone is a bit wasteful. You can do a lot with the gold though, separate maps for different situations (switchable) and able to run things like COP conversion and lose that dizzy!

  16. Only reliable way is a health check on a dyno or wideband kit, depends if a wideband kit costs more than engine rebuilds lol. I would Definately wideband that before you do some serious damage
  17. Sefton no it doesn't unfourtunately, a lot of people are suggesting the injectors could be at fault? As far as I'm aware the only real major design flaw was the Delphi fuel pump that sends iron filings through the fuel system. It's a cock of a car to work on for sure... I hopefully will be getting my hands on a blown 1500 dci so I can steal some sensors etc and hope for the best. Any other tips would be much appreciated
  18. got one cams would need fitting, but if I remember correctly you have to remove cams to bolt head up on a 4e im in kent, can get it delivered if you want would drop it up but my cars just about fucked
  19. blu tak n supar jew will do it, lol google td04 wastegate bracket or something there cheap enough to buy or make if your having trouble with your local welder

  21. problem is because it's cast, seen people just mig it, you can just make or buy a bracket to hold the arm closed
