Fitted one of my optional mk1 recuemans yesterday. Another option added to the car I found my glanza oem strut brace which has been sat around for years so i sanded and polished it up. Came out ok. I did this a couple of weeks ago but forgot i had done it. The sills on the car were chipped and scuffed where people have got in and out of the car over the years. I flatted them back and gave them a light spray. You would never know The headlight covers and indicators are now finished after flatting and polishing. Really happy with the outcome.

Number plates and optional plate surrounds fitted I removed the quad light covers ready for paint and found a little moss build up on the lenses so gave them a clean.

More progress on the car. Painted the manifold heat shield as i didn't like the look of it. The washer/expansion tank was looking grubby so i put them in the dishwasher and the outcome was amazing. Look like new I purchased some yellow tint film for the fog lamps. Jdm look After fitting the new alternator i found that the battery didn't hold charge and the car cut out once load was applied so a new one was purchased. After a while waiting for the paint to cure i finally managed to get to flat and polish the bumpers and side trims. I'm very happy with the outcome. The pict

Yeah it's 100% original other than the new radiator that has been fitted.

I'm unsure which car to bring tbh. I was going to take the glanza but if this makes it onto the road before jae i may bring this instead

Really getting somewhere with the car now so here's an update of my progress. The optional mats have now been refitted. Oem mk1 alloy wheels have been sanded, prepped and painted and look amazing. Really happy with the outcome. As well as the wheels, I made a start on the bodywork which wasn't in the best of conditions when i bought the car. Firstly i removed the front bumper ready for prep. The bumper is currently waiting for the paint to be mixed then it can be applied and polished. When removing the bumper i found that the support bar had been bent slightly so i r

I don't really want to have to break it and i will be hugely upset to see it go but if i sell to another enthusiast I'm sure i will appreciate seeing it kept as is and well looked after. The fact of growing up and becoming boring to buy a house is something that has to happen and finding the deposit amount requires me to sell this which is something i thought I'd never have to do but needs must.

I've been on poor wages for years working as a service technician for a fall arrest company. I had my last day today after 9 years as I've found myself a job in engineering as a lathe operative. It won't be as interesting but the money is good. Engineering is a great career as there are many areas to go in

After a manic few months i finally got to do some work on the car. First of which is that awful cassette player and dodgy loom. I had the plug i was missing donated by fiddlersport and soldered that in. I sourced an original glanza cd, cassette radio and fitted it. Looks so much better Also from fiddlersport was the no smoking ashtray. Just need the insert as that's missing The jam gearknob i have replaced the shabby leather one and looks awesome. The optional mats looked grubby so gave them a clean.

Just wondering what my car would be worth if i decide to sell? It's 232bhp on emb. Loads of rare optional extras. Very clean inside and out. As some people may know I'm a huge enthusiast and this car has been very well looked after in the 8 years i have owned it. Mainly looking for the advice of people who have seen the car and know me as it saves putting a huge write up on here.
