  1. Not as bad a EP3 CTRs I bet! Looks nice Dale!
  2. Quick update.. A couple more parts arrived, braided oil/water lines and a fresh clutch slave cylinder. The better news is that the Glanza is now ALIVE! I'll add some pictures and maybe a video tomorrow if I get a chance! The exhaust sounds better than I remembered I need a smaller radiator as the original Glanza one is too big to fit in, so I'll be ordering a half size dual/triple core Civic radiator once funds allow. Other than that, she just wants a nice tidy up and a good going over before I get her insured and begin to run the engine in. Also need to fix the brakes but that's a whole different dilemma!
  3. The original is plastic and diamond Amjad.
  4. Probably real, that price seems about right on eBay. There's a few American sellers (ebay.com) who sell them for around that.
  5. He's online so I'm sure he will see this now, I'll PM it to you anyway Edit - Too late
  6. Looks so much better lowered, just need to get those wheels off now
  7. Looks very smart, especially the front end. A rear spoiler would work a treat!
  8. 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000% flat battery
  9. Cheers guys. Bill these are the stock LCR alloys, so yeah you'll have them if you buy one. Ryan I didn't really get a chance to have a good drive/look around Wales, it was getting too late and dark! Maybe next time!
  10. On a budget of £2k?!
  11. A decent Starlet GT can easily be purchased for £2k. You will insure it cheap enough at 20 with 3 yrs NCB too.
  12. Cheers John, Amjad I'll get one ordered next week!
  13. A small update I haven't done much apart from drive, service and clean this car since owning it but she has been treated to these wheels that I really wanted. They are genuine Seat wheels that come on the Cupra R. I part ex'd the Team Dynamics for these and I think I got a pretty good deal. I also picked up a pair of OEM wing mirrors last night, they will either be fitted tonight or on the weekend.
  14. Thanks for the compliments guys, the rear bumper will be a Jam style Zac I'll be using this catch tank, or maybe one exactly the same but where I can remove the lid so I can stuff the inside with something to catch the vapour.
  15. Cheers guys. Zac, the cam cover is just temporary. Both outlets on the cover are T'd together and then run to the catch can. I'll eventually have braided hose fittings welded to the cam cover and have 2 individual lines running to a new oil catch can.
  16. The breather set up hosing is different to the oil return, the oil return has really think walls and looks 'stronger' than the original oil return. I'll see how it holds out. Cheers Sparky, Brad I needed the bolt that goes on the turbo, cheers anyway. I ordered the hoses that have the fittings on the actual pipe, instead of the banjo bolt style, as I think those ones look a lot neater.
  17. Some new bits fitted over the weekend, we almost had the car running but couldn't find a banjo bolt for the oil feed, so I ordered some new oil and water lines from TM-Developments. Cambelt cover.. Samco oil return Samco filter hoses with Apexi filter Sard Fuel Regulator Blitz HT Leads An 'almost complete' engine bay! The oil catch can and HKS SSQV are not yet fitted properly. A few more snaps: This panel behind the bumper needs a rub down and respray, it has gathered too much dust over time!
  18. Nice work Lewis, the state of those valves is shocking
  19. Do NOT use the heasgasket, you're wasting your time. I remember someone used one on their GT, regardless of how much he was told not to use it. He kept going on about how he was only running a small amount of boost, after driving it a new thread popped up by him saying he's ruined it again. The only response he got was 'we told you so'. The .6 is suitable for N/A, you've got a lower compression engine from factory, why ruin that and run low boost? It will be on the back of your mind always. Do it once, do it right. OEM or Athena!
  20. I've made this mistake more than once
  21. Very nice! I think it's a lot easier to fit the engine if you attach that gearbox mount to the gearbox first, then line it up the to car, Always works out easier for me anyway! Ps. Please reply to my text or PM
