  1. Ditto, most of them do seem to be fitted that way
  2. If your going to be using a smaller rad then I wouldn't mount it horizontally on the passengers side as it will block direct air to the radiator. I am fitting my Sard oil cooler (similar size to yours I think) the same as you fitted it on the last picture.
  3. I was waiting for him to lose control, that looks mad! Anyone else notice how he kept checking back to see if his camera hadn't ran off
  4. Cheers guys!
  5. My first car..
  6. It's a simple thing, same style as the OEM
  7. My mirrors used to retract automatically but they don't after I stripped the car for a respray
  8. Good luck mate! It has been a very long time coming, good man for sticking at it!
  9. Thanks, is it possible to have the bonnet done a fixed yellow like the bumper?
  10. Hi guys, Could someone please colour code the bonnet and bumper in the picture below, and then another with just the bumper colour coded please? Cheers Idrees
  11. I spent a couple of hours or stripping the engine yesterday, the problem was exactly what I had a feeling it would be; piston rings not gapped correctly! She's ready to rebuild now but I may as well use this opportunity to get a thicker headgasket to lower the compression that bit more (as I want to run more boost with the TD05) and also ARP head and rod bolts. A couple of pictures..
  12. I saw it last night too, it was alright but the last one was better.
  13. Yes mate they are available on my website now. They have a thread just like the OEM spoiler, so a 10mm bolt and some double sided tape will hole it on securely.
  14. I can't remember Azes time tbh, think it was in the 12s? I'm sure he will confirm shortly.
  15. Thank you If you buy an OEM bonnet and headlights, the front bumper on the link you posted will fit without an issue. The sideskirts and rear bumper/spoiler will also fit without an issue, I'll add some more photos of the rear to see if you like it any better. Idrees
  16. x2 No there aren't any that have done a faster time in the UK/Ireland. Not sure about the Malta boys, I think there is someone who has done it faster but he isn't actually on the site.
  17. Ricky didn't include those gold bits when I bought the turbo from him. He gave me a cheaper style of braided line fitment for some reason, where they attach to the turbo with banjo bolts. You won't need the gold bits if you get the same style of braided pipes that I did. You'll also need an oil return flange/pipe, that's it. Also yes the turbo is rotated to suit my manifold setup, if it needs rotating more you can do it very easily by opening the clip that holds the inlet housing.
  18. I'm at Birmingham City Uni where they offer Motorsport Technology but it's Bsc. I want to transfer to Huddersfield after my foundation year, as they offer Motorsport Engineering and it's BEng too. How's your course? Much Maths & Physics involved?
  19. I'd advise not to use it at all mate, you won't get it all out properly.
  20. Tonnes of potential mate, can't wait to see what you do with it.
  21. Test drive some nice 'sensible' cars first and see what you think. Best of luck with your decision mate.
  22. Mate, put it back to stock and sell it. I know I should be supportive and tell you to stick at it, but I know it's always going to be the same for you. I regret the Glanza build, I know it's never going to be 100% how I want it. Yes we may enjoy these cars when they work, but does that really make up for all the times we drive around worrying what's going to break next? I would have broken mine a while ago if it wasn't for my cousin and a good mate, they've put many hours in the car with me and it would be plain rude to tell them I'm breaking it and that their efforts went to waste. Go and test drive a few motors, my brothers just purchase a 2004 Seat Leon FR. 98k, FSH, 150bhp and plenty of torque. A happy guy for £4100, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. It pulls so well and is amazing on fuel.
  23. Motorsport engineering or technology? BEng of Bsc?
