It's not that easy as it's a lot of fiddling. I changed mine but my car had a bare engine bay at the time so it was easy. I imagine you'd have to remove/unbolt the exhaust, remove the rear engine mount and the two bars that attach from the engine mounts to the body near the wishbones at the miminum.

Indeed ;) it's a Cusco 4 point ;) not sure if I'm going to strip my interior though and it doesn't fit with back seats!

Yeah I fitted new stem seals in too ;) It could have been road worthy if I hadn't come to Uni this year, but I have, so maybe around Christmas time hopefully! There's not much left to do, a weeks worth of graft and she could be ready for MOT.

They are awesome, powerful little machines but they are all rotten. If you find a good one it won't last long as they ate weak shells. My cousin had around 7 of them before buying his Starlet GT. They rev really well too.

Cheers guys. Sparky that was my first choice, but blue wheels are getting a bit too common for my liking. I'm going to see what the powder coaters have ;) (as I no longer have time to paint them myself). I started to polish up the paint work yesterday, just a quick couple of snaps. Next is to order a set of ARP headbolts and put the engine back together with the TD05, fit a carbon fibre Id-workz Cooling Bonnet and then flat and polish the rest of the car! ;) Oh and I also picked these bad boys up, just need to find some cheap R888's to stick on to em now.

Say hello to my new babies.. They are 16x8" Rota Grid Drifts with an offset of ET10 I know the tyres looks huge, but they will be replaced with 195/45s to neaten up the look. They won't be staying white, I'm thinking of having them powder coated Bronze as it looks ace against yellow. No progress on the engine but maybe there will be tomorrow
