It all depends on how well the engine has been maintained mate. Generally speaking, if the little FTE has been serviced regularly and generally maintained properly, they can do over 250k miles without a rebuild imo.

I totally disagree with this whole thing, I think the Police should have to witness the crime themselves before sending you a letter. I got one last year saying I was driving dangerously, and I know for a fact I was driving slowly/safely on the day they mentioned on the letter! My car was only a 1.3 N/A! Most of my mates have had one, my brother had one through the post for a loud exhaust or something along those lines

Thanks guys. The Rotas are now off the car for new rubber and some treatment I may have to wait til the 26th for the tyres though as I can't find them anywhere for a decent price (Uniroyal Rainsport 2s in 195/45/16). She's looking a bit crappy right now but hopefully not for long.

Not a problem! I have found some Uniroyal Rainsport 2s on Camskill, they are definitely my choice. They will be around £200 but I rate them over the T1R! ;)

Also my Yellow stuffs did not last long at all! They were on my GT (211bhp) they took around 6 weeks of abuse before I stripped the car for parts, when I took the brakes off the pads had nothing left!!
