First things first, I fitted my TC short shifter to the Glanza. Shifting feels soo much better with this! Okay, along with the headgasket failing, I think I managed to damage a piston ring. This created a bit of a mess to say the least.. And on the bumper. Some new parts to go with the new engine. Castrol Magnatec 10w40 Engine Oil 75w90 Performance Gear Oil NGK Iridium Plugs Oil Filter Fuel Filter Thermostat Antifreeze/Water Coolant Dayco Alternator Belt Dayco P/Steering Belt Exedy Paddle Clutch So, the next job was to get the new engine and parts fitted. Today I, with the help of my cousin, removed the engine and gearbox at his garage. Having a ramp made life so much easier! Stripping the engine bay, and got rid of the AC. Engine out.. One mucky engine bay - to be cleaned before fitting the new engine all being well. And we called it a day, left the car standing like this before leaving tonight.

Looking top notch David, keep up the good work. I really need to finish my Defi collection too, it's Apexi/Defi at the moment and I want it all to match!!

x2 Over £4500 in 9 days on the Glanza (including the car!) But I'm just surfing the net looking for more things to buy now. Then I need to remove the engine and gearbox out of my GT, and take some other parts off it.

Heres my first update. I decided to go for a new turbo setup yesterday, as my mate Rumel from TGTT was selling his. It's a WEPR TD04 Hybrid kit. A couple of pics with some of the parts I have waiting to be fitted to the V. WEPR Stainless Manifold (Stock Radiator Friendly) WEPR Stainless Downpipe Tial 38mm External Wastegate TD04 Hybrid Turbo Braided Oil/Water Pipes WEPR Front Mounted Intercooler Cusco Oil Catch Can Apexi Air Filter I have other parts sitting around, and have ordered more. I'll update again once everything is here. A bit of bad news is that I am not going forged just yet, because I did the Maths and it comes to £4k straight away. This way is still costing me over £2k, and that doesn't include the parts I already have from my GT, which are worth about £1500! So I'm leaving the forging out for now, and I'm planning on fitting the engine from my GT because I know it's in good condition and has done rather low miles.
