Say I Went To A Garage With This
Idrees replied to silverglanza's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
The chances are you will need to see a gearbox specialist. Even if a garage did offer to take up the job, personally I would rather see a gearbox specialist. Gearboxes are fiddly things and I wouldn't want someone to do it wrong, and it's not easy to remove/fit a gearbox! While your getting the LSD fitted, as Sparky mentioned you may as well get the diff bearings with seals and gaskets, but I'd also replace the syncros for peace of mine. I did this with my old Glanza and the gearbox was a beauty. It cost £150 in labour from CogTeg Transmissions in Bradford, who I would highly recommen -

Merry Christmas to TM-D! -
Craig buy an OEM lip and send it my way, I could probably get a carbon one made for you.
-
Get in touch with Enzo.
-
If the sides are gonna look too high with a JAM lip, then come see me for some bigger sideskirts and rear bumper while your at it!!
-
It doesn't have to precise, I'd put 12kg for the bonnet and 3 for the bumper.
-
Look nice mate, who did you buy them off? I think I almost bought them if they are the same ones that were for sale on TGTT.

Looking forward to seeing the wheels fitted bud, should look tasty. -
The DIN Tray is definitely a genuine Toyota item, it has the Toyota logo on the face. Maybe it's out of a different Toyota? I'm sure I've heard someone else mention 'Optional Din tray' before though. As for the cupholders I have no idea but they rock. When I bought them they were sold to me as 'optional cupholders' - either way they're awesome. Oh and that's some list of bits you've bought off me!

Looks sweet but not too sure on the canards, a big splitter would bring them out though as Sparkys says!!
-
No it's not!!! Looked pretty clean to me the other day man!
-
We will need to write a list of all the things you've bought off me once this car is done!

Ahh unlucky, be more careful! Find a bigger carpark. Speaking of which I kinda did the same yesterday. Snows sooo deep you can't even see where the kerbs are!

Looking good Cat, any way of getting the gauge wiring to look tidier? Maybe a hole in the dash behind them? -
Not sure but it's fucking freezing. And I'm not happy because I have parts to remove off my car that people are waiting on, and I can't remove them in this weather!

I haven't tested the BC's but I've had K-Sports and D2s. The MeisterR's piss all over them, they are sooo comfy for road use. People would always complain about the ride comfort in my car, especially females (even on aftermarket shocks and lowering springs) but I didn't have a single complain with the MeisterRs. They really are excellent for road use. I will be buying the same suspension for my next vehicle without a doubt. Two of my mates had them on Hondas too. One being an EG and the other an EF, they both rated them highly and after I tested the suspension in their cars, I bought mine. Y

Sorry to hear that but tut tut shouldn't be driving at that age. Well tbh I did the same thing once when I was your age with my old Yellow one, luckily the damage polished out though!

Sorry I had agreed to buy these off Craig months ago, as he can probably confirm with you mate. Nice to see you boys working hard on this today, can't wait to see finished pics!! Cough JAM front splitter cough.

Or just leave your drinks in the car overnight, ice cold in the morning!

You might want to pay the extra for a JDM one such as RSR, imo they are so much better as they are much easier to adjust.
