  4. When I get round to it I still need to paint the top spoiler, ducktail, sideskirts, rear lip and the number plate holder. I will do the mirrors then too. Plans are to paint the baseplates Toyota Metallic black to go with the door frames, if I ever get around to all this!
  5. As requested, although there is not much to show... Exhaust hangers = fail. Also notice the Glanza wing mirrors.
  6. I'm gonna try it one more time and if it doesn't stick properly then I'm gonna have to paint them black! Even thought I really can't be arsed with any more painting lol!

  9. Thanks for all the nice comments gents. And SpeedFreak! SiikSR yeah a real pain but I think it'll pay off when/if it gets on the road. The carbon window surrounds could look good, but the quality of the film I bought is shit, not sticky enough. So I'm just gonna rip it off and point them Toyota Metallic Black when I get the chance.

  11. I'd go for a red one, like the K & N Replica. Don't ask why, because I don't know. Maybe its because the silver ones usually have shitty mesh filtering, like the Blitz for example.

  17. Hey guys, Ever sine I have been driving the GT (couple of weeks) I felt it's not as quick as it should be, and I've noticed that it's not hitting full boost. It gets half way up the stock boost guage and then struggles up to the three quarter line, it never gets to full boost. Now the car is an Auto to Manual conversion which we converted last year. I thought the problem could be coming from the Auto ECU but it is still the same with a manual ECU (from a Glanza). The engine management light comes on at about 2800 rpm, me and a friend carried out a diagnostics test and it came up with fault codes for the knock sensor. The knock sensor plug on the auto loom will not plug in properly to the new engine which came from a manual. So I need a new knock sensor from an Auto which is obviously hard to get hold of so I'm thinking of splicing a manual knock sensor plug in to the auto loom. Now, can that knock sensor make the turbo act like this? Or do I have another problem? It also drinks a lot of petrol, I thought that might be worth mentioning. I've had the actuator checked out and it's fine, I've also had a look around all the engine bay several times and vacuum pipes and all plugs look fine (to me!). Any help much appreciated.

  20. Thanks for all the nice comments guys, some are really touching. No updates apart from these carbon style B pillars. I was gonna do the window surrounds too, but I dunno how it looks? Opinions please?
