  2. Looks good Rob, the front looks sweet with the amber lenses.
  3. Top job on that mirror! Good progress so far mate, get these painted pictures up ASAP!
  4. I'm in a similar position, someone ran in to the back of mine resulting in the wheel well crushed in. The engineer who assessed it valued the repair at £2400 and the car at £3500 so he said they are likely to have it repaired however if I phone my solicitor and ask for a cash settlement they will take the VAT off the £2400 and send me £2000 to have it repaired myself. This is what I will try to do then reshell the car as I don't fancy keeping it.
  5. Haha. Very nice to meet you last week too, you gave us all a good laugh!
  6. Just to let you know guys the water lines are usually bigger on the TD05 and the oil feed may be too so just check sizes to be sure
  7. Looks awesome mate, so fresh especially with all the new parts!
  8. Good start dude. JDM racecar though? Really?
  9. It's not a waste of money as you can get most of you money back if you sell all your mods separately (as long as you are patient and don't want everything gone in a day). People modify cars to make themselves feel fucking awesome when they drive it and get an erection when they look at it.
  10. Haha yeah possible. And yes that was me.
  11. You'll have to drill out the spot welds to remove it.
  12. RW Performance in Keighley.
  13. Use double sided foam tape. It's strong enough and can be removed after without damaging the lense.
  14. Cheers guys! We have a few options all available on our website.
  15. Hats off to you for having the balls to do something so different, this is epic and will most definitely go down in Starlet history.
  16. Fill it from the filler hole til it leaks from the level hole. Make sure the car is parked on an even surface
  17. Convertible ftw. Coupes are cheaper but I wanted a proper one.
  18. Awesome build mate, more goodies should be with you tomorrow. Who is mapping it? Sorry if you mentioned it and I missed it.
  19. I saw you on Leeds road today Seab, outside Tesco Express. I horned but you ignored me :(
  20. £41.24 from Toyota.
  21. Haha, it's awesome to drive but most days I take the GT. It's much better on fuel too, especially around town. I do choose the M3 for longer drives though, but most days I'm just local so the GT suits me better. As said above though, the M3 is an absolutely awesome car.
  22. The S54 engines are solid, they call them bulletproof but the head gaskets are almost guaranteed to go due to the thin cylinder walls. Most common points are between cylinder 5 and 6, but I've seen pictures that show splits between cylinder 2-3, and even 1-2. A friend has a beautiful Laguna Sega, maintained to a high standard with full BMW history and his head gasket needed replacing at ~75k miles. Another friend has a Red one, same again with full BMW history and sub 80k miles, he just had his done last year too. Touch wood mine is spot on however I am going to do a compression test just for peace of mind at some point. There are other known faults too such as noisy vanos bolts etc, but it's a £50k car and most are 10s years old so faults are to be expected. They have less faults than other cars in the same league though imo.
