  1. Looks lovely, much better with the spoiler on. I think late spec lenses would look great. Better than the Reflets on your car, imo of course.
  2. I put out of date milk in my tea today, it went straight down the drain! @ Ecks
  3. Breaking it will probably get you more money.
  4. Hi guys, I need to get my dash loom out to replace with a new one. I've been at it this afternoon, but I'm stuck with one last part. There is a small bunch of wires which go through the bulkhead behind the steering wheel area. It looks as though it is going down near the gear selector cables. Any idea what this is for? How the hell do I get it out? I can't find anywhere to unplug it, and I don't wanna cut it! What should I do? Thanks in advance for any helpful replies.
  5. Haha, that's exactly what I've been thinking. If I knew how to give it a real carbon overlay, I'd try it.
  6. Car looks nice and thats a good result too. The blue GT looks cool, never seen it before. Just needs some smaller rims!
  7. Insurance on my N/A is £2k, I'm 17 and have been passed for a few months. Its all down to my postcode, seems like a decent area but if I put my postcode somewhere up in Scotland, it drops down to £1k. Not paid yet though, no point if the car isn't on the road.
  8. Yeah I had a massive sheet of it lying around, so thought I'd give it a shot. I wanna do more of the interior with it now!
  9. Been sat at home bored tonight so I came up with this..
  10. Red centres with white lip for me!
  11. Awesome mate, this is my favourite SR! ;)
  12. Easier than I thought if I'm honest, took me just over an hour. I really want to get it flocked before re-fitting it, but time will not allow it. ;) Its come out so that I can get a new loom fitted, and give it a really good clean.
  13. The lip isn't too hard to look after, I polished my Advans' polished lips using Autosol a few times and it brought the lips out as good as new every time. Won't be a problem as long as you keep on top of it!
  14. I would, but... Might just wait and get it done though.
  15. Hi guys, I've had to rip out my dashboard today to replace the wiring loom. Now, while it is out, I want to make it look better. Its in the stock SR grey colour at the moment, and is fairly messy. I would love to get it flocked, but I don't have to send it off and wait for it to come back. (Need it back in the car for MOT on the weekend). What do I do with it? Leave it looking messy? Paint it a smooth Matt Black? Or, can I flock it myself? Where do I start, what do I need? Any help/suggestions much appreciated.
  16. Looks nice and clean. Good luck with it!
  17. I'm guesstimating mine are approximately 40mm.
  18. And a new throttle body would probably cost about £400 odd.
  19. Thanks Phil mate. Sparky, yeah it's not too bad. We have been told the exhaust probably helps it lose power! Its a universal jap can that came fitted to the car, it can stay until the new engine is in though.
  20. I've offered £1k for the full car on behalf of my brother, but he won't go lower than £1280!
