I'd go for a red one, like the K & N Replica. Don't ask why, because I don't know. Maybe its because the silver ones usually have shitty mesh filtering, like the Blitz for example.

Hey guys, Ever sine I have been driving the GT (couple of weeks) I felt it's not as quick as it should be, and I've noticed that it's not hitting full boost. It gets half way up the stock boost guage and then struggles up to the three quarter line, it never gets to full boost. Now the car is an Auto to Manual conversion which we converted last year. I thought the problem could be coming from the Auto ECU but it is still the same with a manual ECU (from a Glanza). The engine management light comes on at about 2800 rpm, me and a friend carried out a diagnostics test and it came up with fau

Does anybody know if an ECU from a manual GT needs to be fitted when carrying out an auto to manual conversion? I've heard people saying no, but I don't understand how the car is supposed to run right with a 5 speed manual gearbox when using a 4 speed auto ECU? We have done this conversion and running the Auto ECU as advised, but the car is not as quick as it should be. It doesn't hit full boost, only gets to about three quarters of the way up on the stock boost guage. It also slightly judders at about 2200 revs for a split second.
