well i was having a look over the car today and noticed that my inlet side fmic pipe is rubbing and has almost worn a hole through , also with getting a new mani n turbo upgrade etc i thought that now would be a good time to wrap it , i noticed places like bnq sell it for wrapping copper piping on boilers, would this do the trick its only £3 a roll but then ive found some stuff which is on car sites for £20+ is it the same or is one more special etc ? also has anyone else wrapped there fmic pipe and how did it go ? and then secondly i thought while having my mani - turbo kit in a box in my room maybe it would be a good idea to heat wrap it as im wrapping the pipe so i can keep all the heat in and all the heat out etc but i saw a thrad on this where people said it was bad due to the mani not being able to release heat and so fourth causes excess heat stress and can crack the mani , is this true ? or is it only for stainless manifolds (mines mild steel) so should i wrap mani & fmic pipe wrap mani wrap fmic pipe any pictures and advice would be appreciated also id be using some black heatwrap also if people know of good places to try links ;) ive looked on ebay , monster motorsport etc

have you set a time on the actuall gizzmo dude i had this problem i wired in my turbo timer and i was like WTF it keeps turning off then i realised it was set to stay on for 0:00 lol

if ya do it make a proper in deapth guide with a pic of every pipe and what pipes where connected to what etc , ive wanted to do it but i know ill mess up n KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! goes me engine

yeah thats the one so works fine for all temp and oil pressure , doesnt upset the gauges or anything? is it literally buy one plug it in to the oil sensor (where ever it is) and then plug in the oil pressure and oil temp , what gauges u usin bud? im goin for prosport

ive decided to buy some gauges etc and need a sandwhich plate ive read on here a couple of different sizes but i wana know for def is it m14x1.5 ? anyone with gauges oil temp , n pressure where did you buy your sandwhich plate from ?

tops more expensive lol i wanted an afr gauge too but there 175 plus more money on getting the o2 sensor welded in so ill leave that for next months pay hah

well im stuck in what i shud buy next oil temp, oil pressure, water temp , boost , sandwhich plate, water temp adapter or gizzmo msibc , mesh, carbon double din, oil , oil filter etc just thought id get you guys more inolved with my build

umm not too sure dude i only did the washer jets and the washer jet motor as mine split when my bottle shuffled forward on the belt and burnt through it haha i brought 2 meters an had a lil bit left over

wel it does include the following prosport stepper/warning gauge with audible tone all in blue boost (bar) oil pressure (bar) oil temp water temp and there AFR wideband kit water temp adapter and the sandwhich plate all brand new and delivered plus 10% so comes to like £360 i thought that was a bargain haha
