LOL! I managed to get the turbo bolts off fairly easily, what i did is went to halfords and just bought a E16 star socket and soaked the bolts in WD40 and they did give up a fight but suddenly they gave way BUT the most ironic thing is the bolts on the CAT which bolt to the centre section i cannot get off for the life of me!! They are just chewing up! Some bright spark decided not to put stainless bolts on when they changed the exhaust so they have basically welded themself up! Nut splitter wont fit in because of the pipe is in the way so out comes the angle grinder Doing this on Sunday so if i remember to take some pictures i will do a how to on it for other people

So a 12mm socket fits over the star bolt, it doesn't mangle the bolts up does it? After all the bolts are off I want to replace them with normal nuts anyway

Any advice at all? Anyone know what size the star socket it? Fitting tomoz

Hi, I need a bit of advice on fitting my De-cat and Screamer pipe as i dont know what kind of tools i need and what good techniques people have got to getting them on and off, Any possibility anyone can shed some light on the subject for me please cheers

I found a guy on eBay who makes the GT and the Turbo stickers that go on the side doors in all different colours and in the correct size, font and domed font not just cheap stickers. Heres some pics His name on eBay is driver40014 and i THINK he is charging £20 for the GT and Turbo in various colours He also ownes a Starlet EP82 and i think hes a member on TGTT. So get on eBay and grab a bargain! I did!

Any chance you can get diagnostics on it? There is a way to test it by making the EML flash, how ever many times it flashes ie 6 there was a chart to see what 6 flashes means, maybe on here with a bit of searching
