Cheers dude, Very happy with it Thanks mate Here are a couple of vids of my car at mondays sprint, Fantastic day and the car was absolutely fantastic all day. Thankfully idrees is sorting me out with some more:) Anyway proper quality day and not bad for my first trackday! Jordan walker might also have some videos so will wait for him to chime in. 11. No mate i firstvremoved it for porting and me and micky were very surprised at the condition of it, unusually good. We ported the wastegate, and i had it fitted for about 5 months and it never used a drop of oil. Almost annoyed me as i never had to top the oil up beetween services lol. And Pmed kbond
  12. Yeh i dont see why you couldnt. I was running a bar and it was spot on! Possibly be a bit rich if its mapped for Td04 though
  13. I never had the chance to have it dynoed mate, Once i had the actuator etc set up properly it was at full boost 250rpm Later than A CT9, But had a bigger powerband. The only thing that let it down on my car was my Ecu setup. Was comfortably quicker than a 5e Td04 (0.8Bar) Glanza even at silly speeds. The auzzies were getting 240Ish max out of these when i was researching:)
  14. Been absolutely loving driving this at the moment, spool times have lowered a tad also possibly 200rpm for max boost, over 3500rpm the boost is fantastic and it pulls so hard. Thing that has surprised me the most though is the sound, Its very deep and almost N/A like off boost, Then gradually gets louder and louder until its VERY Loud on boost, think i will have to be careful! Will get some good videos on monday as im doing a sprint day at teeside, so will get the GoPro out and have a play:) Thanks mate, And yeh i do like the look of it in the cabin i constantly watch it though lol Fantastic mate, I have always been convinced the KS Rom ecu i have has been mapped for a big fruity turbo such as this as it never fuelled the CT9 well, Fuelled the TF035 Much better but still wayyy to rich (Hence the missing/Hesitating feeling) But now this is on its perfect, exactly how i would want it if it was mapped! Off boost isnt fast, but plenty torquey enough and i can keep it off boost and still pull up banks and have mint AFRs so should be good on Fuel. Think with it being Ball Bearing the sound of it spooling, Sound on boost, how it comes on and the fact theres no lag beetween gears is awesome. Once your going your definetely going somewhere lol! You know it micky you need to have a go! Thanks man:) And yeh i think its similiar to a TD04 But its a lump bigger, flows much more, has less lag beetween gears and can flow upwards of 330Hp So its a win win! Downside is there probably 3x as expensive new lol. And yeh i will see how the AVCR Goes! Thanks Amjad, and yeh there coming! Cheers mate, and yeh think its a class looking turbo, can tell there a performance orientated turbo! TT
  15. Really like the look of this dude keep it up:)
  16. Fitted it on sunday and after a few teething problems i sorted today which where mainly the actuator! All i can say is the extra lag is soooooo worth it, Feels properly mental fast and just pulls and pulls sooo hard Have useable boost by 2800rpm, Approx half a bar at 3400rpm and a bar at 3900rpm This is just on the Actuator i have yet to dial in the AVCR and see if the boost times drop a tad:) Definitely need to get some videos of this. Also has completely changed the sound and is so agressive Here are a few comparision pics:) Old turbo Outta there and empty bay http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_164155_zps6ecf09b2.jpg.html'> Old setup http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_164135_zpsac8102fa.jpg.html'> Size comparisions http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_170714_zps2629224f.jpg.html'> http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_170708_zps0153788e.jpg.html'> http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_170653_zps34ae57ef.jpg.html'> http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_170549_zps5d0bc8b6.jpg.html'> New setup in! http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_202702_zpsc7a51217.jpg.html'> http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_202417_zps81f95d5c.jpg.html'> http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130512_202412_zpsc3a67ff8.jpg.html'> And here are the photos of the actuator which was to say the least an absolute TWAT to do and almost made me put the old turbo back on until i could go externally gated! Had to mount a small bracket to locate it on the compressor side of the turbo on the little 8m bolts, then because that was so flimsy i had to fabricate a solid mount off the engine block to support the force of the actuator. Also had to buy a new longer actuator arm which i then bent as you see in the photos to get it on. Massive pain in the arse but so worth it as its set for 1.0Bar dead on! http://s280.photobucket.com/user/thetoffinator/media/20130513_190736_zps30b289a9.jpg.html'> Thanks for looking and opinions as always:) TT
  17. Thanks dude, And yeh have to be different! Hopefully today lol
  18. @ Amjad yeh lol definetely better, just makes it noticeably slower but i dont think i will have this problem on this And thanks Liam, i will let you all know how it goes
  19. As above?
  20. Yeh its the ecu just overfuelling the setup on full boost on the smaller turbos. Convinced its been mapped for a big tubby in japan Amjad, its fine sometimes you can avoid it in the rev range but more air will cure that;)
  21. Lmao:p thanks lads abd yes shes a VF24! Fucking mint condition too:p and amjad no dude im going to try gapping the plugs tommorow to see if it fixes it, fucking hesitation hopefully the Vf will sort it! And haha you know me micky... but yeh hopefully more flow and gapping the plugs will sort it!
