  3. Well the time had come for me to upgrade from the old N/A To my new V, This sort of happened even though i was SKINT, as micky boy let me know he was mabye selling his V... So yeh cue a quick phone call and i arranged a viewing! I could bore you with the details but credit to micky its an awesome car, after first sight i was eager to get it, But after a long drive out i HAD to have it Bought it last saturday, washed it twice, and basically enjoyed it since then. Few modifications have been carried out so far, with more to come when i claw some money back Heres the first drive out pics, and when i got it home of the interior, before i swapped in the N/A`s interior, Notice the optional mats, Cupholders and airbag. I then gave it a clean, swapped in my recaros, old red mats (To protect the optional ones) Gearknob, Leather gaiters, and a few other bits. Also took a few outside pics, paintwork is flawless and i havent even touched it yet! Notice the wind deflectors:D Also took a few snaps of the underneath, to show just how clean this thing is!! After a few days of driving it about, i got a bit fed up of hitting fuel cut, so fitted my Adjustable acuator courtesy of micky boy. Engine bay shots as well, Still havent cleaned it but it also shows the cleanliness! Its set to just under 0.6 bar, but it still creeps right upto 1. bar and fuel cutting which is sort of ruining the expierence, so im looking for a Plug & Play for it... 6. Having a problem with the rear lights on my glanza, when i press the brake the brake lights light up properly, however when i have the lights turned on in the car and press the brake, the left hand side cluster goes out completely,(As in every light) Is this down to a bad earth or something? And if so, where the hell is this earth?? Thanks
  7. Yeh it was a bit sad but moved onto bigger and better things, it was good while it lasted though! Still need to make a thread on the new one anywho
  8. Well i said farewell to this car last night, still looked good with its recaros and wheel, as well as a few other bits removed for the glanza. Sad day it is:(

  10. Well its time for the project (sort of) To end, became the proud owner on friday of Micky Boys 99Spec Glanza V. This will be sold onto a friend, and if he backs out it will be on here, so hopefully stay in the family... Build thread for the glanza will be up later, Just busy swapping all the bits i want of this into the Glanza, and selling this as a partial Glanza rep... Thanks to everyone for the inspiration with this, it meant alot and helped me massively, and most of all the community that have succesfully managed to sway me into more starlets. Thanks people:) TT
  11. Lol class! Will have a go today, see if i can speak to a manager or something, or as you said james hassle them and say put me through to cancellations!
  12. Yeh i understand i wont get my years no claims, but it only goes up from 1300 to 1500 when i take a years no claims off so it makes little difference, Ideally i would stay with them if they could drop the price, But knowing my luck they will be twats about it
  13. Yeh im paying monthly, i would pay 100 to cancel it as i can get quotes nearly a grand cheaper!!!! It makes no sense! Gonna ring them tommorow and see if i can haggle the feck out of thenm
  14. Just wondering if anybody on here has ever cancelled a policy with admiral/bell etc before and how much it costs? Basically the quote im paying for this year is 2100 or something, i have tried a few more quotes with the same company, and there now quoting me 1300, i have changed NOTHING. How the hell can they justify this? And is there anyway around it? Bit sickening when i know there just having me on
  15. I know, i need a decat back in my life lmao

  20. Heres a photo of my car, Dodo juice products used courtesy of Hou! Epic stuff and great prices!
  21. billy can i have a price posted on the front wiper linkages, and the heater resistor behind the glovebox please if there both in good nick? Gutted your breaking this mate:/
  22. I bloody hope so man, Just think it will be sad to see that beast scrapped, when it can be all made better:(
  23. Honestly mate from the photos it cant be that bad, you would be surprised. Bumper doesnt look bad at all, bonnets crumple at very low speeds as do wings. the front panel on these is like paper, get hold of it with your hands and it will bend back. Its all got a memory of how it was before, a bodyshop would make light work
  24. Im sure it can be repaired, how bads the bumper on the side i cant see? There usually easy to save these... bonnet and a wing from a scrappys as well...
  25. The front bar? that the rad attacthes too? cheap from a scrappys and any welder thats worth his salt can fit it, bodyshop sorts the rest
