I currently have Kyb Excel g`s and PI Springs, Before this the same shocks and cuscos. the ride is stiffer on the PI`s, Not too stiff but it is very noticeable... Doesnt roll much etc, only have strut braces as well. Some new excel g`s and good springs are the best bet

They are a massive improvement over normal tires, but i would rather have a set of steelies with rallyish tyres on, like real skinny knobblies any day of the week. Had these on mine last year and it was awesome. even went out of my way to go down closed roads because i could:P

Awesoooome. love the italian bikes and always have, dads always had them. Never had one that hasnt been problematic though! 916 Had engine trouble, Mille had problems with sprag clutch etc, strip shit down, 888 was just problems

Seats are just 4 bolts, easy in and out, doorcards just pop them off, be careful banging them back on, everything else is just clips, rear seats are 4 bolts as well. Piece of piss matey! If theres any plastic parts you need to change, make sure all hidden screws are out, and then give it a good yank!

Lol i have done this also, when the car was running , Always tell my mates to lock the door when they get out, left it running and locked mine without thinking, came back a few minutes later and my mate had gotton out and locked the door Tried with a bent bike spoke to unlock it, couldnt manage it!

Was going to say phil, this is awesome! Handling on simulation is beaut, i like how you can feel the cars weight being affected the more you steer, like its going lock to lock and its a pendulum effect, then tankslapper and your going backwards lol. even the cars sound as they should, and they spit flames:D

Heatwraping, Does It Make A Difference?
The Toffinator replied to neilsmith's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Keeps heat and sound/vibrations contained in the exhaust=better flow, cooler temps around the car and engine bay, And obviously with hotter gases you get more flames, pops etc -
5EFHE Into UK EP91
The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
Thats what this bloke told me as well, said it should run perfectly fine as it the ecu can sort the rest of it out, while the dizzy has the timing bit sorted. will set it with a timing gun and check the A/F ratios when its done. Just gonna have a crack at it and see what the what is, worst comes to worst old engine goes back in. -
5EFHE Into UK EP91
The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
Yeh doubt it would run bang on, but would get it sorted. Should be a fairly substantial power jump anyhow. Bloke who is doing it with me is a time served mechanic, doing daft engine swaps etc in scrapyards and works by day as a lorry mechanic and mechanic for a scrapyard, not much he doesnt know tbf! Said he could pull my engine out within a few hours, done the corollas before! Mint:P -
5EFHE Into UK EP91
The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
So hopefully im right in thinking it would just be higher comp and a bit more capacity, would get the AFRS checked when it was running though to make sure it was okay. And no, would make a custom exhaust up for it dude. -
5EFHE Into UK EP91
The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
Whats the difference beetween the blocks? I know its basically a high comp 5efe, with a slightly different exhaust cam, differnt inlet and exhaust manifolds, throttle body etc. So with my Manifolds, throttle body, and other bits that need swapping surely it will just be a high comp version of the 1.5 in the end? -
5EFHE Into UK EP91
The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
Found an engine ryan;) No loom. And as long as the basics are the same, which the block and everything that i will be fitting off the 4efe is the same )Inlet and exhaust manifold etc) It will run, just not as perfect as a 5efhe ecu. And yeh gtstu that would be the idea when i could afford it:) -
5EFHE Into UK EP91
The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Alternative Engine Discussions
It would be ran on that for now just to replace my tired one, Would want management for it at some point ryan. Would still be a substantial gain in power anyway -
As above, been doing a bit of searching and so far found that supposedly the 5efhe has a knock sensor etc which means it would be a faff to run my loom etc into. Is it not just possible to swap whats needed off my engine onto the 5efhe, and fit it using the 4efe ecu and loom etc? As in plug and play like the 5efe? Thanks

They look awesome man, never a fan of green wheels but them yes!
