The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
Thanks Ryan, Think your right about it looking more serious! And man im still a bit gutted about yours! Dont know of any more 6P3s now:( And i got one dude, bought it off micky boy as he lives up the road from me, but thanks anyway:) And Too right shaun, goes with the handling:P, and yeh the doorcards let it down, i do have the rear bench though so may get some ideas there. Just wondering do i get my 98Spec glanza seats trimmed in the same material as the fronts? as you cant really notice the difference now tbh! Or do i do my doorcards in the material? Thanks -
Same problem!! it gets slightly warm on the hottest setting ffs lol

Thanks for looking:D -

-
What do you mean you never planned it? You binned it?
-
Cant remember why you have to do that ryan but you have to or the timing isnt read right!
-
Very random, sadd:(

As above Amjad its only the carriers that are diferent, (so you need bigger discs) the calipers are very slightly different, but there was a very noticeable improvement on mine when i did it, and yeh the pads are the same on both brakes:) Im running that exact setup and its plenty for road use tbh... Oh and only mod you need to fit it is to cut the heatshields off as they are nowhere near close to fitting lol

The Toffinator replied to The Toffinator's topic in Games, Tech & Gadgets
I cant remeber what i set dude, but if you have the top secret supra already, download the tune off the storefront (FREE) and load it on. Make sure the time is on a flying lap too -
It IS better to have a full susser when general trail riding, but only because its a bit comfier and you can travel quicker up/down and across ground due to it absorbing bumps etc. Not neccesarily more fun though as you ride them differently
-
Where the hell are them trails man and why the hell are you not riding them!! They look awesome!
-
I want that Usb:( But arent your cranks on the wrong way?
-
Lmao sounds like a typical severe trail riding incident, bike usually clouts you as you realize you just faceplanted solid mud
-
Bit too extreme for General mounting biking as well:P and lol street bmx, surely its more dangerous gravel rash is not pleasant lol
-
Probably £250 mate if its in good nick, its old hat now. And yeh thats a good point ryan!
-
No worries jham glad to help out. And yeh sounds like exactly what you need then, most hardtails with that sort of travel have relaxed enough geometry to do daft jumps when your mooching round woods etc. And yeh mongoose are a decent brand, seem to have had a few years worth of good bikes come out of them. Problem with specialized are they have a name for themselves, so they will always be popular, but there skimping out on Major details that the average buyer doesnt realize, IE own brand shocks, forks, cheap wheelsets with fancy paint etc. so it rides nice for a bit then it all starts going t

You really need to think about what Exactly you want to ride, When you mean jumps do you mean proper trails? ie sets of tight jumps? As you will struggle to get a bike you can do this and Cross country on, it just doesnt work, the geometry is completely wrong and there too big, and you need them WAY smaller to do jumps on! A decent bike for a bit of everything is a hardcore hardtail (Decent amount of travel, smallish frame with big seattubes so you can still pedal it about. You need to compromise on a few things, comfort and ease of riding for a while offroad it needs to be a proper size, with

Yeh your right asad, i didnt have to hammer my strutbrace on, if its easier for you as well what i did recently instead of just bending the filter back is just drill holes lower down on the bracket, which obviously lowers the filter so its fits a bit nicer

Managed to get hold of a D1Spec oil catch can for a tenner today, and am wondering how its fitted? am i right in thinking it can be placed anywhere in the bay, and have a pipe coming off the PCV Valve, into one connector on the can, and then the second running back into the intake as per factory? so its basically just inbeetween? Did have a search but couldnt quite find what i wanted! Thanks
