  1. Ah that makes sense, amplify the rears and turn the fader to the back should be right. will have a go i think!
  2. Current set up in my car is a set of standard sized front alpine speakers, and some expensive 6x9s in my parcel shelf. sounds brilliant now but am looking for a bit more kick, and want to fit an amp. Only thing is i want it under the passenger seat so its stealth installed, and want a small one so it fits nice under there. Main question is what channel amplifier do i need? will a 2way be okay? or is there any you would reccomend? currently looking at this little one http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-...490_p-23379.htm Thanks!
  3. Its decent heat wrap that ryan, done the downpipe on mine and its fine. be careful of the steel ties there VERY difficult to get tight, and there sharp as feck, i ruined my hands doing it
  4. I have Paradas on mine, and in the dry there brilliant and you sort of run out of the limits of the chassis on a hot day, but in the wet they are absoulutely SHOCKING. try going anywhere reasonably quickly and its all over, understeer oversteer etc its like being in haily/ light snow they just dont want to go round corners! We have Rainsport 2s on the scoob( yes they handle anyway) but you can go nearly as quick in the wet as you can in the dry with them, they are just unreall!
  5. Best of giving it a good service and running it on vpower again, mabye reset the ecu??
  6. The drop in alone is massive, some serious pull at the bottom before the jump! crazy man, lucky or just pure skill to get it right though not like you can control how fast he was rotating
  7. Awww such a shame:( always quite liked the look of that! looks like thieving scum have been in it after as well
  8. Looks properly mint from the back now! makes me want a white one... Just out of interest where did you get your steel ties from? i had some before and you couldnt tighten them up they were shocking!
  9. Im deffo up for one, whitby sounds like a good idea!
  10. Looks properly clean there mate, quality! You got them seats sorted for me yet
  11. dudeeee thats looking mint! how did you fit the turbo tb though? i keep hearing that it has different plugs etc Thaniks
  12. looks mint dude, tidy job. i did the same on mine and soon realized it was a STUPID idea as it took me fecking ages
  13. That with like 300hp would be the worlds best sleeper EVA
  14. After i have washed the car and theres a bit of water left i just use a sponge and wash the exhaust:p
  15. Mate your info is fantastic, i am going to have a go at this and see what i can improve myself, I think my plan for now is Turbo inlet mani and TB,injectors, then mabye a decat onto my standard exhaust (bar the straight through backbox). what would you advise induction kit wise? it has a BMC on at the moment sat near the TB, with the pipe running to the front bumper, if i change to the parts above would i need to change this? At the moment i have a standard ported exhaust manifold, would you advise getting anything else? Thanks alot mate! invaluable info this!
  16. Which backplate do you mean? if its just the heatshield remove it, its unneccesary
  17. Was waiting for your reply chris! thanks alot for that, had a word with my dad and he mentioned about damaging ringlands etc, and more pressure being put on the wrong bits etc, so i think the best way to go like you said is the injectors etc. Only thing is i cant see how the turbo inlet manifold is better than the corrolla one, and how much extra air its actually getting? as surely its getting as much as it needs or am i wrong? IE when it has the bigger injectors and a better exhaust, will my setup be too restrictive? Thanks mate!
  18. Thanks ry i think the front ends my fave part:) and yeh it bang on all round, good springs!
  19. Redz, thanks, and yeh there brilliant arent they, corners are the best thing ever:D Lukesr, yeh i think it will look spot on with the rolled tip exhaust, get it sat perfect in it:) And liam man i would regret it too, but tbh they wouldnt suit your new one, Some phat jdm ones on yours yes please! Cheers lads:)
  20. Cant wait to see it finito! looks quality
  21. Ryan thanks dude, loving how it looks now just want a glanza bum and some 98spec lights, no spoiler And yeh amjad i think it will sit lovely! the ride is stiffer than my cuscos definetely, but i drive mostly on moor roads, back roads etc that are littered with potholes and bumps and i fooking love it! it is stiff and speedbumps are gay as hell, but its really well damped with the gas shocks, and it doesnt roll, you can just feel it absorbing everything. its very well balanced in the cornes, ie lift off oversteer, power on understeer or neutral if your steady on the throttle, just feels mint!
  22. New suspension. New KYBS with PI springs. rides spot on compared to the cuscos:D Thanks for looking:)
