  1. So its 3" from the mani back? bet it sounds mental
  2. The amount you have spent on this thing, it would be noway near worth it getting rid of the thing for pennies, you will seriously regret it when its gone. stick at it
  3. Wheres the exhaust straight through from mate? and is it a 2"catback? Looks mint now in, that colours awesome
  4. Think you will need them winter wheel on by the looks of the weather!
  5. Mate thats really not a good idea, secondly especially if your the main driver! honestly you may think you will repair it if you crash it, but what if you crash it and it gets recovered? or your injured? hello ban and everything else they will throw at you. Dont mean to be a bore, but think about it mate, it aint clever!
  6. How the hell did you get insured on a gt as a first car
  7. Does it matter? weight will be on it either way!

  10. Bet its mental loud, mine is a silenced backbox and its still loud, we took the backbox off and it was deafening lol
  11. Definetely trial and error, but i found the best gains on my car with the BMC DIA. look on my build thread for the ebay link, then look at the genuine one and see if you can spot the difference. http://www.angeltuning.co.uk/dia.htm Theres bugger all, even down to the screws that hold it on and the filter colour. sounds brilliant as well and as nanglebadger said theres no heat soak Oh and im still jealous of your car!
  12. Forget universal ones if its just a cone, mine didnt make a noticeable difference at all, until i fitted my BMC replica, direct replica of the plastic BMC, and its definetely better than the open cone! feels less laggy and picks up easier if that makes sense lol. have a look on my build thread dude, but i am thinking of mounting the actual box near the battery, as you can remove the front of the box to open it up, and just leave it open at the front. cheap as well but the quality is mint for the price!
  13. Lol tis okay dean, im guessing i will just find out when i buy them! surely with them being the same looking i will only have to change a little bit
  14. Think nanglebadger has hit the nail on the head, i have only had mine 4 months but you dont realize how nippy they are, with basic mods they are plenty fast enough to get you into trouble lol! just think when you nail it in 2nd, upto sixty odd then into 3rd, your well over 70mph in mabye 15seconds? illegal speeds lmao. and out of interest where did you get your leads from? i want some leads and sparkplugs for mine just dont have a clue where or what to get! Toff
  15. They have had them for a while now sparky, theres some on a big biking road near us, fireblades and they sit in the cafe waiting for people to ride past, chase after them and bait them. dad gets it all the time even with me on the back! fucking aresholes thats why this thread pissed me off
  16. Im not too sure either way, like i said the N/A of the same year as mine had completely different calipers, while these ones i have bought look exactly like mine? either way will they fit the mounts on my car? Thanks
  17. Thanks mate, im sure they look the same, only had mine off last week so i think there the right ones! the caliper itself can come away from that thin bar when you unbolt the bolts from the sliders if you get me? if thats right then them calipers should fit lol
  18. Love to do this, but aint seen one for sale for yonks
  19. Ah i will get them ordered mate, they should fit mine then would you think? just ordered some grooved discs and pads! And lol dan read the above post
  20. Mines a 96 yet the calipers look alot different to the 96 5door sportif at the scrappys, and i wasnt buying the pads just saw the caliper was different as was going to get the calipers! will the gt ones fit? like these? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-STARLET-GT-EP...8#ht_1569wt_905
  21. My sportif needs new front brakes, and when i took the pads out they were both the same, so went to a scrappys and on a starlet of the same year, but a five door version, the calipers were different and one of the pads was a different shape completely? like curved with longer arms? can anyone shed some light on this and which pads are best for my car. MODS: I know it should be in brake section, but im desperate for these! Thanks
