Here is my most recent bit of modding, havent updated on here in a while as been busy :harhar: Anyway here is my new splitter, which was a bastard to fit! And my new exhaust! Which comprises of a JanSpeed silencer and custom tip and tubing. All stainless steel. And my final BARGAIN mod, my BMC Replica enclosed intake! (£37) of ebay! Was just thinking FTE clutch asad, and coilpacks are also a great addition. Where could we make a list for progressing mods? (obviously inlet mani and exhaust first, then go on in cost/size of the mod?)

Tbh i think we need to look more deeply into general N/A tuning, and see what gains can be gotten on similiar engines if possible

I completely agree with you Amjad, it will ALWAYS be easier to get gains on a turbo engine that an n/a with mapping and mods. but like i said the map on it now wont take to well to mods, and the general map will be eco, reliability,mpg based. im sure good gains could be gotten from it with a good setup! another thing is it will be alot easier for me to insure;) Just unsure on what managment to use, and where to take it...

Thanks for that lads, and yeh at the moment i AM bored with the power, but i cannot afford an fte, and with gains i have seen on alot of n/a engines i seem to think you may get decent gains? because the FE will not be mapped for power, economy and reliability will be what is aimed for, so sorting that out along with a few engine mods i think you should het a good gain. And yeh joel your builds brilliant, keep on pushing the fe!

Just wondered what sort of gains could be got with a decent map on basic mods on these engines? and i understand i would need an aftermarket ecu or can you map the standard ecu? Thanks

As above, front driverside caliper is sticking on slightly, i have had it off and the pads and disc are fine, just one pad had little bits pulled off it, and wondered if theres something been stuck in it? piston seems to move in and out no problem with no stickyness, and im sure it was better when i drove it again but its still sticking Any advice on what to do with it? Yes they are good games, especially the campaign, but when they have SOOOO much money to put into a game, and you cant jump properly, or jump onto daft things such as a ledge because the game doesnt let you? nevermind the ridicilous interventions. i just think that if they spent a bit more time and added more into it they would be insane. like i just played halo reach and what you can do on an average map is insane, imagine COD where you could actually get onto balconys etc? COMEON DEVELOPERS!

It doesnt even look anymore polished than MW2! TBH it looks wank, mabye slighty better than mw2, but all they do is keep the same repetitive thing, add a few extra bits( in this case it looks like a new font and more gay killstreaks) ans then proceed to make millions when EVERYONE bums over it! look at the sniping for example, its bollocks, and the fact you cant jump properly, climb on anything etc etc etc Fun for a short while, then it hits you its actually shit and basic

That is pretty mad, but nothing compared to what else i have seen! just shows how many bad drivers there are about, look how many times cars pull out!

I pressure washed mine after it got crap in it. came up mint. or if that doesnt work some strong cleaner then repeat with the pressure washer should sort it!
