  1. im also interested in one of these.but my only prob at the mo is i dont know if it will fit as my 5efte is in a r5 engine bay(well its actually sat in the garage) as soon as its fitted i will have to get the tape measure out
  2. It will be your fuel regulator mate, mine ticks like mad and it's perfectly normal
  3. I have a 6 puk paddle clutch forsale done no more than a 1000 miles, perfect condition Pm me if your interested only reason forsale is I have krissyb 5e and that came with a clutch that will handle the power I'm chaseing
  4. 210mph eh,has it got a tdo5 strapped to it,my c2h zx10r only manages 191mph on the speedo and I know bike speedos arnt that accurate,it's prob more like 181 or something
  5. Yeah, from what I have been toled them type of fish are boring as you can't have anything in the tank with them.marine fish are good but a Paine in the arse to keep and it can get very expensive
  6. you wana type in (snakehead feeding) now that a nasty fish
  7. They seem very knowledgeable, although it wasn't them that mapped my car we just borrowed there rollers Would defo trust them wiv my car though
  8. Is that at rs tuning?I was there the other month with my 4efte powered r5 for a fine tune, good results by the way
  9. aahh the joys of been a young whippet, you make me feel very old:-( have a gud un :harhar:
  10. who has the highest trap speed?that would show the most powerfull, well depending on weight of the car
  11. I actually like them, think they look coolif done wiv euro styleing, and there's plenty of engines to choose from
  12. Yeah that's my old man, glad it's still on the road
  13. did you buy that car from york??only reason i ask is it looks identical to my mams old glanza
  14. my brothers is a rev3,and apparently to make the most out of 300bhp+ you need a standalone ecu, infact there was one at york dragway, forged engine running 2bar and it was only crossing the line at 110mph my money would still be with the starlet because lets say you have 3K to spend for that you would get a very nice starlet but for an mr2 your probably looking at the bootom end of the market(a lot of dogs about that have been bogded together)
  15. My brother has got an mr2,and had a starlet/glanza.and from what I know the starlet is by far the cheapest to run,and fix and easier to work, his is running 17psi(prob 270-280bhp) and my 218bhp 4efte renault 5 is a tad quicker. The mr2 is a nicer car to drive but personly I would choose a starlet
  16. To be honest I think the conversion would defo be worth while, sometimes I think why didn't I put that engine in my r5 insted of the 4efte.and I don't know where the £20,000 conversion cost came from?it would cost no where near that.if you were to do the work yourself I reckon it would cost no more than 5k.and if you look at it this way you could spend that on a 4efte and get what?300-350bhp or you could do the conversion and up the boost on the 3s-gte engine and have 300+bhp and stacks more tourqe than the 4efte.also at that power level the 3s-gte wouldn't even brake into a sweat just
  17. correct me if I'm wrong The only prob I think with useing this is.when you get your car mapped does he map it to the methanol injection? Because if he does what happens if your pump fails(so does your engine) and if he maps it then adds the methanol kit the gains are gonna be minimal.this is the only reason I didn't fit mine and it's sat on the top shelf in the garage
  18. I'm defo going in my 4efte powered Renault 5 gt.the track has been prepped with some traction additive, apparently slot of the peeps there were setting pb
  19. I saved 15kg by replaceing my 5 windows with poly ones.ok it's a r5 gtt but you get the idea
  20. Very nice, nearly bought a haga rep once but ended buying an sp1,at the mo I have a zx10r c2h(the fast one) if money was no object I would buy a ducati 996 foggy rep.my dad had one and it was the best bike I have ever riden and I don't think I will ride a bike that will better it.honestly it was amazing v-twins all the way
  21. There's a company my dad used, they machined the end so they looked like bell mouths did a really good job,and I don't think it was that expensive.I will find out who did it if you want?
  22. i was just about to say the samething re:silicon pipe being sucked in.that is deffo a no no.also on your inlet where you have cut the top off .how have you finished the end of the inlet runners?because if that has a step in it it will deffo be robbing you of power.my dad had probs like this on his v8 running 4x48 webbers
  23. Try this, let your car idle and then cover your inlet on the turbo,if the boost pipes suck in and the engine dies u don't have a boost leak.if it keeps running you have a leak
  24. i really like the 11 turbo, same engine as a 5 gt turbo but with a wider track but nothing could ever replace my 5 gt turbo
