  1. Thanks morgey for being (as always!) helpful! So it's better to just buy the whole lamps... And are there any/many issues with cables and plugs? What will I do with my fog light plug I wonder?
  2. I still don't get it - I'm on about the tail lights - if the JDM shape is the same as EU N/A (is it?) why couldn't you swap the lenses/covers only? Different screw pattern or what exactly is the problem? Has anyone tried and has a photo of rear light clusters stripped and JDM vs EU compared? Thanks in advance! Di_Bodi
  3. So how much are the indicators/lenses from the dealer? And could I buy 98 reflet tail light lenses only from dealer and fit to my N/A rear light clusters I wonder?
  4. Lads If I'm getting an OEM gasket for re-fitting the cover (and all 5 bolts and washers) - DO I ALSO NEED SPARK PLUG SEALS???
  5. No interest - Can this be locked please
  6. Item For Sale: This is a speedo cluster / clocks with a rev counter and white dials off a '95 JDM Cynos/Paseo which will fit EP91 Starlets/Glanzas I believe. Item Condition & Description: Used item I bought over the weekend but have realised after delivery that these JDM clocks have a rev counter up to 8000rpm (with redline at 7400)!!!That makes me think they are off a Cynos with 5E-FHE engine as the max power in them was at 7200rpm I reckon. It might be quite rare item but it's not good for my N/A EP91 which needs 7000rpm rev counter...So I am putting this up for grabs - maybe someone wit
  7. It must be from JDM Cynos with 5E-FHE as the max power in them was at 7200 rpm I think! It can be rare but it's no good for my N/A I'm afraid so will up for sale soon or returned to scrap yard...

  9. Brilliant photo comparing them two clocks, thanks MR2! Was the swap process in your EU car exactly the same as described in UKSO tutorial? That's what I meant with my JDM Paseo (it actually was a Cynos) clocks - why the hell the red starts at 7400 rpm, if all the n/a starlets/glanzas/paseos had a red starting at 5800??? - sure 7400rpms is too much for n/a, isn't it?? My clocks just arrived (photo below) and I'm not happy - I'd prefer to have 200kmh and correct rev counter so most likely will be returning the item...;-(((
  10. That's true - so I bought some paseo dials but have only realised now that the rev counter is up to 8000rpm's! How it comes that all other speedos I've seen (UK and EU ones) have 7000 rpms?!? Also have realised that 180 km/h is not enough for my little starlet... What happens with the needle and speedo when you go over that? Any advice would be appreciated as I don't know should I return it and get EU/UK one... see photo below
  11. Also: are the JDM clocks (I can get one with km/h only) are different (wires/plugs-wise) to those UK dials you've used in tutorial?

  13. Lads, I know this is a very old thread but I'm considering to get Paseo clocks for my '98 N/A EP91 from EU just to have them in km/h (handy in Ireland, plus they cost £10-20max in Poland!) and as a complete greenhorn in relation to wiring, diagrams and plugs I have a quetsion: Would the 'How 2 Fit Paseo Clocks Into A Starlet' tutorial work or the european clocks are different?!? Does anyone know please?

  15. Welcome along! Red Starlets are just the Best!!!;) And the Speedlines! Great base indeed!!!
  16. Zep is gone so... The only options are cusco , rsr and ultra racing (WL is not adj. In situ) Is rsr still available??? Has anyone more comments regarding Ultra Racing braces quality???
  17. And is it a straight swap, I mean do they come complete with the bushes?
  18. This is really good price! How many weeks does it take for DHL to deliver?
  19. When I look at the whole set up (photo below) it makes sense what you're saying StyDoc 72 - the axle should go left after lowering as the fixed point is at the rhs! Why my one is such a stubborn one and went the opposite way...Hmmm.. I had the alignment checked and there is minimally more of camber at the RHS wheel so maybe I should swap them shocks around (absorber's stud might be slighly bent?) and check how it's all fixed then! I know - she's dirty:)) but it was really ugly day!
  20. Is it the driver's side (RHS) rear wheel being pushed out lads or the passenger side (after lowering)? In my case it's the driver's side where the arch is rubbing the wheel...
  21. I'll strip the carpet, take the shock down, take photos and measure it all up when I have a chance so!
