I asked Iddy mate he can't get them

Nice job @ Jamie5414 - I had one of them up here before it was a crazy Starlet. It was a white over grey 4wd ep95 with big grey mouldings from factory. The spare wheel was mounted on the bootlid and used to open out sideways like a jeep. It was a mental thing! Apparently there are quite a few of them in Australia.

As above. Must have the 98/99 black/chrome housing not the grey 96/97 ones. All mounting points must be sound. Cash waiting!

Well what a day! Only got back from the shed very late last night but after a day of headaches, bleeding knuckles, frustration, several tantrums, "why won't it fit" and around 400 cigarettes later the engine is in and running! It was an absolute pig of a job but it's in now so happy days. It took a lot longer than expected because I basically completely lost the plot with the car when we were putting it back together! (It's dangerous having a well stocked shed full of rare performance parts when you are rebuilding a car!) ha I started off by cleaning the engine bay before the new engine w

Well guys I've been mental busy with Starlets and parts the past few weeks so finally got time to get this sorted in good time for Japfest. I blew the engine before Christmas doing rings (it died happy!) Can't understand it really the engine never overheated and was full of oil when it went. The bottom end started knocking slightly. I think it was all the oil going to one side of the sump whilst doing rings so I think a baffled sump is in order. After looking quite a while I finally got my hands on a very good replacement engine with very good compression across all four cylinders. With g

Yeah kavan-k I will get pics of it tomorrow. I'm going to convert it into a van with a Glanza kit on it would be good for advertising

@ maddox710 - It started when I was 17. A lot of people in my area drove Starlets of some description and I always wanted one. i saved up all my money and bought a 96 Glanza V and began tuning it. I later sold that and bought my current 99 Glanza. I was sick of driving the length and breadth of the country looking for parts, often to find that when I got there the parts were broken or damaged. I bought another Glanza and took a lot of parts off it for my own current Glanza and sold a few bits off it and it just grew from there. I always loved "the hunt" for rare and elusive parts. Followi

@ kavan-k - yeah I'm big into the twincams I've had a good few. I've two coupes at the minute the white one and the fully restored red over black. Only recently sold a black UK spec AE86 and an Australian 8a9 blue coupe aswel @ Manny - I've different plans for different cars its just hard to get time to do any of my own cars at the minute because we are so busy. Main things going on at the minute is work on the RWD GT Turbo for Japfest and get the 383bhp Glanza running right again. Whenever I get a chance I try and put a bit more back together on the red Tom's EP85 Starlet I'm building for dr

Well guys the beast is officially out of retirement! The car has been lying up a very long time so got a new battery for the car today and away she went first tip of the key. I brought it for a drive to try and free up the brakes and blow the cobwebs off her. Quite a few niggly problems from sitting up so long but going to get stuck in this weekend and get her done. Eventually got her in and up on the ramp with the very low JAM sideskirts... Today I fitted a 6000k H3C HID kit to the foglights to match the 6000k HID's in the headlights. I also fitted LED sidelight bulbs to match and LED r
