Why was that going to be broken for parts?! S13s of that shape are rare enough as it is, some touched in the head people about tbh.

the chap couldn't sell it for what he wanted for it and had other commitments and actually did start braking it he sold the boot carpet and rear seatbelts before i came in with my offer to take the whole car and he took it

im not planning on doing loads to it as i simply cant afford to lol ill just be turning her into a nice driving daily that slides

as some of you know i recently sold my Glanza, Jade took her off my hands and i know without a doubt she is in good hands and will be looked after!

So anyway this was abit of a last minute purchase... this car was going to be broken for parts if i didnt buy it so i think I've done a very good deed and saved this car...

it has 0 rust

engine was rebuilt and mapped by greg at pro tuner and is making some good power!

its a bit rough round the edges but for the price i paid its going to be!

anyways heres just a few photos i took of the old girl!

More to come when she has been cleaned and tidied up abit!

Fantastic day, bar the absolutely torrential downpour at one point! Good to see grant slaying everyone on track, as always.

For my first JF2, I loved it, even if I did get sunburnt! Good to see faces again, and roll on JAE!

5th gear shat itself on the way home, joy. Had to spend about 40 mins with my hand on the gear stick to keep it from popping out all the time! It engages fine, no noise etc, but it just doesn't want to stay there

My Glanza is like this! i can put it into 5th and hold it in there with the revs on but soon as i let the revs drop it pops out! Not ideal for motorway driving but who needs 5th anyways ;) mines been like this since i bought the car haha

you will probs have to loose the plastic strip on the rear arches if you flare them as it will push the plastic strip out of shape

Thinking about doing this myself. Get the logo embroided instead of the printed stuff that always falls off so start a list and I'll let you's know what happening

just looking at the configuration of the starlets engine and maybe it could be the oil pump seal has gone or something like that... think its a little bit too big of a job for me

Redid the cam cover and cam seal and still not fixed.. So guessing its the crank seal. Anyone know of any guides to do this or know how to do it?

Can i do this myself with basic tools?

ill let you know how i get on. i used a brand new gasket and loads of silicone sealer when i did my rocker cover

fingers crossed it is only something small

i have recently resealed up my cam over as that was leaking on the other side last time so i dout it is but over the weekend ill whip off the cam over and maybe even the aux belts and have a proper look

if it is the crank seal, is it a large job to do?

Hey guys, was doing a few odd jobs on the car yesterday and noticed i have an oil leak! quiet a few drops of oil on the floor after parked up for 10 mins so its something i need to look at.

From underneath its dripping from the car cover side of the sump right under the crank.

From above there looks to be oil getting flicked up onto the side of the cam over and even little bits on the rocker cover, i think it may be getting on the belt too as it squeeled when i drove it this morning...

im guessing crank seal but i wanted to get your opinions on what it may be? any common leaks etc?

any advice or info is appreciated!

I've had some issues with the air fresheners and a couple of weeks into the production they told me they are not going to do them and refunded me :/ so looking at other suppliers witch is no easy task!

as for clothing Mr Porter is coming up with some uber artwork that we will be putting together shortly

Thanks for the kind words mate! as you have probe seen there isn't really many changes i have made to the car, all i have done is changed some bits here and there, cleaned up bits and put my own stamp on it loving it as it is so not many changes from now on!

And thanks about the website! i still have plenty to add just need more sales to make more funds to keep it going!
