same here £2.50 jobby lol the window sucker ones dont seem good enough.. i thought if i get a C pillar bar would i be able to get a bike phone ( the one that goes round the bar ) and use that ? anyone tryed this ?

Right! lots of overdue updates! as some of you know the wheels i have on rub and cut into the tyres. after talks with lew777 who has the same wheels as me he told me he has BC coilovers and has no problems. so after thinking weather to get a panhard rod or not i saw a set of BC coilovers pop up for sale and bit the bullet and bought them! i fitted them last week and after setting them up right i can now confirm the rubbing has stopped! it slightly catches when i go over a big bump but only slightly so i am one happy chappy another thing i have done is changed my inlet manifold for a mirror polished one heres some photos how i got on! While it was off decided to give the firewall a good clean as it was so dirty! heres the finished product showing off my new strut brace aswell! You can see my smoothed fuel rail i did a wire tuck at the same time to show it off abit as some of you know i had some breathing issues and condensation in the catch can and the lines and this is because of the short journeys i do so the race spec cover and catch can setup wasnt ideal for me so it had to be sold i will be getting my standard rocker cover polished up though! while doing all this i gave the car a nice service with some good oil, new spark plugs and oil filter heres some more bits that came today ! nice shiny new oil cap! magnetic sump plug and the fuel hose to plumb my RRFPR in! once i have it all up and running i will get it booked in at my local Rolling Road and get it set up properly and see what she makes enjoy reading this long update! cheers!

only started tweeting since i put the new inlet on, all bolts are tight , everything in place, its only on idol it tweets even when warm, i can see it getting annoying lol but yeh im so glad its not HG! i didnt think it could be as tuning developments give the engine a full rebuild about 3 years ago and the head gasket was only done a year ago by them too, looks like i cant use a race spec rocker cover for my style of driving as i only go a couple of miles the condensation builds up.. probs be for sale soon....

comp test went 1 150 2 150 3 150 4 160 i think its sorted now apart from the tweet i can here coming from somewhere, calling it a day as I've been on the car since half 9!

put old rocker cover back on, so PVC valve and breather and all seems fine , no smoke, no water :s

car drives perfect mate wouldent have known without looking at the catch can! im servicing the car as we speak

oil looks fine, bit dark but was planning on servicing it next weekend could it still be the head gasket? or am i looking at the rocker cover now?

just did a compression test before im about to start draining her, 150,150,150,160 will let you know what the oils like once drained

before my race spec cover and catch can i had a hose going to another catch can that was open to atmosphere and PVC valve into inlet

just about to drop the oil, what am i looking for in the oil?

got all the receipts mate , was fitted at tuning developments

thing is when i bought the car it had a brand new 1.2 mm head gasket fitted about a month before i bought it, it cant have gone that quickly ?
