Havent heard one personally, quite loud i believe they only make noise on full boost tho wen the gate is open. Im sure if you youtube them you will get a few.

Its down to what the turbo can handle people have lots of different pressures but there is an optimum for what a turbo can handle before it starts to put it at risk and wont really create any more power. So with a standard ct9 most people say 1 bar is the optimum safe pressure so running any more pressure isnt really worth it as u wont get much more power but it will be more likely to damage it. Then as they get bigger they generally hold more pressure so a hybrid ct9 may be good up to 1.2 bar A TD04 up to about 1.4 Then the bigger turbos ive heard running up to 2 bar and above. Hope this helps.

I heard about this? Part of west cruise that motor?

The stainless steel straight pipe at the bottom of the pic is the screamer pipe would go down towards the ground after coming off your EWG and open up underneath you engine so on full boost you would get the scream its down to you whether you want the screamer noise or just your usual exhaust noise mate

you can get and externally gated set up that will put your screamer straight back into the de cat. The option id go for if the budget allowed it best of both worlds.

With far more info and help. Agreed though facts are facts and that lip is the tits. Lol ill keep my standard 96 tail lights though -

Im sure there is plenty mechanically clued up members joining also i consider myself one of those I wasnt a guru on tuning but i am a qualified mechanic and during my time on here ive picked up alot on the tuning side to add to that and think im pretty clued up on how starlets work as a basis obv with a large amount still to take in but i am picking it up quickly. As for the max power statement was merely a bit of banter and had it been directed at a corsa with lexus lights im sure most people would have agreed. Was not to offend anyone like i said just a joke and definatly was not directed at any one person in particular. Anyway i think we can let people get back to their opinions on the body kit knowing theres no hard feelings lol. And also no carat tail lights were harmed in the making of this thread. Thanks -

Lol I dont know if the whole knowledge part was directed at me but i was well aware they were carat light just for the record lol. Also I didnt direct anything in the way of your car or how it looks im focusing mainly on the carat light which i will stand by my opinion on that i dont like them. On the other part its a matter of opinion i fell 1ao is the best colour of a glanza and given the choice of standard kits i think the 96 front end also is by far the best looking option with the lip a proper grill and an actual badge rather than just a sticker but like you said it is all about opinions afterall surely thats what this forum is all about and without variety the starlet itself wouldnt be what it is. Anyway just wanted to clarify that and leave it on that note that there was not digs intended and its all about opinion and that theres no hard feeling it all in the name of fun afterall. -

Firstly im no expert in conversons but ill do my best to help. Lets start with yes ofcourse its worth doing it will change your car from a standard hatchback to the infamous "hot hatch" and im sure will give you a perma smile as it does for all of us. As far as i know your bottom end would be fine for the standard turbo and power, but you would need a glanza wiring loom and a few other bits and bobs like glanza dials and glanza indication stalks (again i think not i garuntee) With the intercooler airfilter and exhaust id advise on porting the wastegate and mani fold before you fit it. Anythin else ill do my best to advise.

Fucking LOL 106 gti got to love there optomism if it hadnt become a pile of rust yet. Cheek to say starlets aint that fast then list all the euro hatches that couldnt pull you out of bed in the morning. Each to their own its all just bitterness due to there budgets being a grand a cherry bomb exhaust and set of wolfrace alloys.

I WILLLL get that rear lip! -
Nah never heard of that and i very much doubt it as in an mot you cant remove anything to check so it would just be a case of covering anythin up and they cant do nothing. Plus with imports there is not uk model so they have nothing to compare it to all in all i highly doubt this. Sounds a little Nazi'ish
-
Althought with grooved discs i wouldnt use standard pads get yourself yellow or red stuff pads or your uprated discs will be pointless.
-
Aye mate there not cheap like i said 1st off get a quote from iddy he tends to have good prices.
-
No the pipe that the dipstick goes in. Well further down where that goes in to the engine there could be a leak there im sure its near that side of the engine. Worth a check anyway. Whip off your fan belts then the crank pulley and then timing belt coveres and see if theres oil in there that way u will know if its the crank seal.
-
Is it defo not the dipstick seal mate? Have you asked Iddy at Id workz? pretty sure he does them.

WMS brakes are on here check the trader section as for other options you can get levin brakes or celica brakes but both require brackets and/or machining. Id get yourself a set of WMS ive been thinking of a set for myself of late and thats what ill be opting for.
