  1. Aye just grind and fill then mate youl be sound
  2. forging it was always part of the plan but id only be forging it to future proof the engine. Dont think ill be going beyond my CT9 for a while its cost too much it will still be a stealthy wee beast.
  3. It only has to open a tiny bit if its at 45 degrees at 0.8 bar you will get practically no boost what so ever.
  4. You can use stuff call kurust or jenolite but tbh mate the only way to get rid of it for good is to get into it with a grinder untill its completely gone and then as trisk said just fill it.
  5. Cool check what the 12v and illumination do but if the 12 is just for power to the circuit and ill is for the light then just wire both to the back of the cig lighter.
  6. Well aye mate the TD04 is a cheap option and with 3 you could easily get there if you were going to spend that kind of money on the engine id defo forge it and make it future proof that way you can run upwards of 250 bhp without worry.
  7. Not bad think id still go for the abarth grey though.
  8. All pipes that carry fluid should have a special ply on them
  9. Well you can check what they do by holding them over the battery mate. Is there a sender unit with these or do the wires go directly to the sensor?
  10. You may get one on here as i believe someone was selling one from Holland where he is based although im sure he was scottish i'd imagine its sold now but they do come up. Im not an expert but im not 100% sure of the benefits of 5e unless u are forging it. you could run that kind of power on a 4e and would save time effort and money. You can easily get 220-230 reliably from a TD04 set up. Cost wise if you have then engine as standard for the turbo kit and brain id say around the £1k mark. I couldn't help with the gearbox questions although i doubt they made an LSD for the 85 as they didnt have the power to justify it. Suspension id imagine is totally down to yourself are coilovers suitable for rally or are you better with a spring and shocker set up due to the punishment they will take to allow for a cheap replacement.
  11. Tried the baby food thing is the baby food you buy watery like a smoothy? The stuff i got was and i poured some in their salad dish but the big one jus sat over it with his face in it slowly licking it they didnt bother with the salad lol. I tried feeding them it from a sppon but he persisted in biting the spoon lol. Do you get it in like a sort of moose form? I think theyd maybe prefer that lol.
  12. Is the 12v just for power to the gauge or does this illuminate the gauge also? Is the illumintation wire only to illuminate the gauge or does it act as a dimmer for when you turn on your lights?
  13. I didnt even drain mine i managed to chage the powersteering ones without losing much at all. The water ones you will have to drain the system. And the ones at the back of the engine if like mine have never been off before are a fucking nightmare. Also you need to remove the starter motor to do the short dumpy water one. Although its only 2 bolts. To answer your question the only 1s that are minimal fuss are the 1or2 if you have a gt for the brake servo. The rest require the draining of fluid and stuff.
  14. Welcome mate think you should go ahead with the boosted 4paw rally build. Always wanted to see a starlet rally kitted.
  15. U'll all be glad to hear tht a folded and ma car no longer has A/C id just like to mention yous are all wankers and my car has been ruined through your peer pressure lol. Oh aye ps: bring on the slag!
  16. Is that pearl with the blue over it that bluey ford colour i said before you should go for? What a colour that is mate. Think u should cover unchartered territory tho and go for the primer grey abarth style lol.
  17. Aye mate same she says i spend more time with my car than her lol. Ive got a corsa vxr aswell that she drives and the air con has been broken for nearly a year on it lol and ive no intention of fixing it she does my head in about it.
  18. Cut the 2 wires from the back of the connectors and join them under the connector or add in some wire if necessary.
  19. Trust me mate id like to i just dont have that kind of money at the moment ive just spent a grand on a turbo management and other stuff and ive still to get it all mapped or i would have had it off you. Looks like ill just have to get mine skimmed.
  20. Seriously the ring gear comes seperately 250 quid is a bit of a kick in the nuts lol
  21. Either that or cut the 2 wires that would meet through that terminal and connect them directly. I doubt getting a new connector would be worth the hassle as your need to wire up every wire or tract the loom and detatch it from everywhere and id imagine it goes directly into the main loom so id just join them directly.
  22. surely there must be more options out there? Anybody know how much a new standard one is?
  23. If you take it off yourself and go to a garage to have it bent only slightly it should literally take them 30 secs and they would have a cheek to charge you. We used to do this at my old work and never charged folk unless it was a bit more work but for 1 small bend i couldnt see any real bill
  24. I cracked 200 in a 1.2 corsa with a 5" exhuast a K&N airfilter and a porsche turbo badge from Halfords
