  1. Just use fuel.... petrol, diesel, paraffin will all remove tar.
  2. I went to GTG aswell bud lol is Swanny still cutting about?
  3. Aye mate your right they are known to carry salmonella and you needto wash your hands before and after handling them but id say its mainly their droppings your talking about a 1% chance you are more likely to give them germs than they are to give you them. Afterall they are the ones stayin in a sterolised environment. And on the room front you can keep small geckos in a 2x2ft terrarium that takes up no more space than an old pc monitor. They are probs better off for a low maintenence lizards because chameleons are expensive to buy and beardies will eat you out of house and home. You could go for a monitor though if you have a spare room for the beast haha. Ill try them with some of that tonight hopefully cheers.
  4. Definately bud its all fine and well reading and learning and if does help but when it comes to it the only things thats gna get the job done is experience. When i was in college we would do practical assesments but its not the same doing jobs on a car people have done 100 times and bolts are all nice and loose well oiled and everything is clean. Plus theres only a few models of car to work on. That practice is useless when an old shit heap comes in and every bolt and nut on it is seized sheered or rounded lol.
  5. Dont wanna contradict you buddy but I defo wouldnt go to college to learn a trade as its nothing compared to the real thing. The only real way is an apprenticeship. When I served my time if it had been all in the college and not working in a garage majority of the time i would not have had a clue. Ok id of known how to do things theoretically but theory is about 10% of actually doing the job. I cant comment on other trades to be honest as i dont wanna tread on toes but as far as being a mechanic going to college is almost pointless lol.
  6. Have you checked all your engine mounts are tightened?
  7. Ill need to have a look out i only have an asda and morrisons handy so will see if they have a no added shit baby food range and give it a go. I would normally just give them a dish of salad usual buy a ranch think from asda as its already sliced and doesnt contain lettuce. Ive never tried them on fruit because I was too afraid of the acidity of them. I just use the powdered nutriens have a tub of nutribal and a tub of calcidust use the nutribal on salad n calcidust on insects but like i said ill try anything to get her to fatten up a bit.
  8. A mod has changed the title on this to mate lol?? By mate I meant the motorway lol.
  9. Id never thought to feed them baby food ive mainly stuck to the salad locusts n crickets. Think ill give that a go with my female as you can see shes pretty small compared to the male could do with feeding up. He sound quite cool the my male goes the same way his neck turns black when hes no a happy chappy.
  10. What college?
  11. Delays and cost mainly Ive only heard it from people in my work never really questioned it as i didnt know anythin about the place it just rung a bell when you wrote it. Ive done all my work to ma car since i served my time as a mechanic anything i need workshop tools for i go to my old work. And for mapping i intend to go to GI motorsports in Kilmarnock because shaun recommended them.

  18. Dont know how much help this will be but i googled it and got a few might be worth giving them a ring and getting a quote and if they are comfortable doing the work mate. http://glasgow.enquira.co.uk/automotive-vehicles/car-engine-specialists/
  19. They can actually lie right underneath it and bash off it some times but i was told beardies are good with teperature on their back and that putting a cage round it the cage would just get hot anyway their skin is pretty tough id definately have one for softer skinned lizards.
  20. Well at 195/45/15 they are good enough tyres make sure you have some good quality ones people tend to go with toyo t1r, or yoko pradas. Get some lowering springs and lower it the 35mm your allowed. U can easily pick up a standard glanza strut brace cheaply and a cheap aftermarket rear one on here id imagine. Get good front and rear anti roll bars on there. And an anti lift kit im not sure how good these are maybe some one else can help. None of these mods are overly expensive and can easily be done on your budget.
  21. So as infants: Eating: Few months back: Doin the lion king bit: And recent:
  22. Cant say ive had any experience with them.
  23. Right since steve called for rules we will call it at anythin reptilian snake lizard turtle tortoise and weel let the terapins in aswell haha. I have 2 beardes just over a year old a male and female although the male is about twice the size of the female ill add a few pics in a bit glad to see a few people have came forward lol. Haha hou my mrs cant stand the insects either but she still loves the lizards there so friendly and calm.Being fair i wish id had somthing like this when i was younger rather than the usual gerbil hamster situation because there jus aggresive wee fucks!
  24. Thought since we had a topic for tropical fish id see if we had the same response for these. Might flop but worth a go. What do you keep?
  25. I wouldnt put supermarket fuel in my lawnmower never mind my car. Ive seen what it can do albeit the diesel but I doubt the petrol is much better although its far more forgiving.
