  5. Am gna assume that its 2nd hand then? Can you not find a wiring diagram for the brand of TT it is?

  7. Haha dave this is where the chat goes down wae all the homies lol. Rob (fulham) sold his advance used to sit in the tesco petrol station in hburgh u widda seen it mate hes got an s3 now.
  8. It could be somthing daft though the float on the sender unit could be jammed or the variable resister could be knackered if its the lowest the fuel have been run aswell the mechanism could be sticky at that point it could be somthing daft like that.
  9. Defo as mickey boy said thats the best way to fit any engine especially if the gearbox is there aswell. Its even easier if you have a 2 post lift.
  10. Had you done anything when it came on like worked on your gauges or touched your fuel pump? Somthing is earthed to cause it to stay on.
  11. Nah you needto remove the rivets to get the heatshield off. I just chiselled the head off them knocked the rest out and replaced them with screws for future convenience

  14. They dont look like they are the right ones for your engine anyway buddy there farr too short. HT leads should sit comfortably and normally locate to a cable tidy to take up the excess.
  15. So it mainly is a squeek when you turn the engine off? You checked your engine mounts? Sounds to me like one is loose. Take off the fan belts and start the engine with them off if its them then there will be no noise if its not then time to check other things.

  18. Ive ordered one of those greenspeed ones so i will let people know how it is when i get it. Could turn out to be a good buy.
  19. I was the same way i quite fancied the greenspeed one aswell but couldnt get any feedback on them although they have a full range so i reckon they must be decent enough.

Its just exedy's standard clutch which would be pretty much the same as toyotas I ordered one last week when i seen 'organic clutch' thinking it was the ultra fibre one and i was getting a bargain only to find out its not so i am now in the process of getting a refund. Look for the greenspeed one its been reduced from 210 quid to 168 and looks a good clutch.
  21. Mine has done nearly 150,000km and is pretty immaculate shaun can vouch for that it is in better state than most that have done 60k. I dont really know if id sell it though thats the thing would have to be the right offer ;) on that i bought it privately but it took me best part of 8 months to find one in scotland this clean.

  23. Lol my pals skyline has a japanese sprite bottle cap over it just thought there might have been a better way. What happens with the vacuum pipe? Jus put the boost gauge pipe straight onto the manifold?
  24. Sorry bout the spam. But i have all standard TMIC just now and standard pipes what should i use to block off the BOV pipe as i have a Baileys DV and as commonly known their shit lol.
  25. So how hard are they to wire in and where do you wire them to? Do they replace the std ECU or is it a piggyback unit? What are the options and how much do they tend to cost 2nd hand?
