Do you take it to the same mot station each year, might be worth changing as some testers are right ass holes when it comes to marking stuff down exaggerating how bad it really is. You hand brake cable should last years and years!! I have had a couple of testers who have been right anal about everything on the car, went to another one and it passed no problem!!

I have got a HKS actuator which was from my CT9 Setup, however since going TD04 i had to cut the arm length so it would give me more room to wind in the actuator arm. Somone mentioned somthing about a stronger spring is needed for a TD04, anyway i have noticed that my actuator doesnt seem to be holding the boost properly and I have had to wind it in more to maintain the same level. Which HKS actuator would i need to replace it? Will be running between 1-1.1bar

Been on a track day today at the G-Tec show at Pembrey, was wet in the morning raining like hell then the track dried out in the afternoon, loads of mad racing going on and the starlet was doing well!. Yes i think your car would suffer from detonation using the standard unit, the more boost you run on the ct9 the hotter it blows!!

Yeah lol its a bit bloody mental that one ha ha! They are the Prosport Premium, the camera isnt focusing properly on anything because of the vibration, gonna have to try and fix it.

Off to Pembrey tomorrow to get some track action in, fitted a 1080p HD camera to the car and have been playing around with the mount to find the best position. I have bought a one way valve system which goes onto the bleed nipple, i found the problem. For some reason the bleed nipples on the rear two callipers when you unscrew them half a turn, the fluid comes out of the nipple, but its also leaking out of the base of the nipple onto the calliper, so thats where the air is getting in, even though i have a tube on the nipple. Think i will have it sorted now with this one way valve, i just need to get my mate to put positive pressure on the rear nipples and i can tighten em so no air can suck back in. Bit of a pain but should be good

I have bled the brakes twice now with a mate but im still get a softish pedeal, air is some how getting back in when im doing it. I am going to get one of the pressure systems today, does anyone know a cheap effective one which will fit the starlet. I have seen this one from Halfrauds http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...yId_165727#dtab but i have just realised that the cap on the system is just a rubber cover and not a screw on type, will this still work. If not which other one should i go and buy that i can get today! Off to Pembrey tomorrow

I have got baffled sumps on the brain at the minute, but wanted to know if anyone has ever experienced oil surge while on track or on the road. You will only know if your getting it if you have an oil pressure gauge fitted. Basically you will have no oil pressure if its surging when cornering very hard, as the oil return pipe in your sump has no oil to suck up as its pooled in one corner of your engine/sump. Post up. I have had one of these shelters in the past, only downside is its a bit of pig to put up and down and there are loads of big heavy poles! Hope someones got a big car to fit it in!! Nice generator too, is that a 4 stroke?
