The one I have is version E, it's not just the one tuner I've phoned a lot of reputable tuners and they've all told me the same thing they've all had instances where the ecu has failed by forgetting maps etc. I thought I'd ask about because if like Arnold has said the layer version E tends not to have any issues compared to earlier versions them I might be okay

Every tuner round this way is telling me these things thats why they don't really want to map it for me making me have doubts il be using the car for mainly track use so itl be flat out most of the time can't risk management failing me

I'm hearing of a lot of engine failures etc. due to emanage ultimate forgetting maps and stuff, could anyone shed some light on this? Is there specific versions that do it? Certain settings that need to be changed? Thanks

how do i make my waste gate louder?
RM15_Glanza replied to Connorhoggg's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Technically an External waste gate does 'dump' its just we in the UK don't really use that term its more a yank thing lol an external gate dumps to atmosphere, I know you can change the note of the waste gate by varying the length and shape of the screamer pipe also weather its thick walled steel too, i custom made my screamer pipe to the same shape as the down pipe and it sounds a lot deeper than any other screamer I've heard..... go on my instagram and have a look at a couple videos of mine n you'll see instagram name is: twistedsymmetry -

I feel your pain buddy i bought mine with an engine with low compression on cylinder 4 not knowing...3-4 months later engine went bang. TBH it was the best thing that happened lol ended up fully forging etc. so i wouldn't worry too much dude you may even come out of this with a stronger engine, 2250 for the car...1000 spent on the engine 3250 in total isn't too bad she should be faultless after that providing the bodies good

Guys could someone be kind enough to measure the thickness of the plates on the anitlift kit please, the plates that go behind the bush incase of any confusion, i plan to make some up as I've been given 2 brand new bushes. im guessing 10-15mm thick but not sure thanks in advance!

look like celica twin pots to me, need discs machined to 4 stud, 3mm spacers behind disc and can use subaru legacy b5 pads (i think its b5)
-
Both i know lots of tuners that go out on road for low down on the map and then fine tune the top end and generally all over on the dyno. Each tuner to their own opinion tho whatever they are best with
