  13. So... another little update, the 91 is pretty much bare now, have been at work at the seam sealer with torch and wire tool on the grinder, stripping it all back getting it ready to stitch weld I purchased a cheeky little sparco circuit seat, which is dong may i add, and a nice omp 4" harness. i have created and checked plans for the roll cage, which will be being created in due course, need to order in a top quality pipe bender from usa, die and loads of other bits and bobs but gave the tig welder a fire up this eve, a good mate of mine welds like an absolute pro, shall have to post an ima
  14. Haha good point but yes :-) haha. And couldn't agree More stripping is the way forward in life Thanks Si :-) hope all is well mate, shall have to catch up soon Cheers steve, hope all is well! Shall be on track soon enough but shall take a while but will be ripping it up as soon as :-). Going over to workshop tonight so shall crack on, everything is pretty Much out, last bits are all brake a fuel lines to be fully dropped and drop the tank and continue getting the seam sealant out :-) which is a bitch lol haha! :-) try and get some more pics later. Found a nasty crease under an inch
  15. Ta Liam and yeh mate bad times, one if my good mates has it so it's Not gone far haha. Itl be around still and at the pod tomorrow :-)
  16. Haha thanks guys! And I don't know gaz, don't really have a weight to get too lol.. Just taking everything out that's not need but I'm building a hardcore cage and chassis is going to be stitch welded on the underside aswell as the top so I'm going for build quality not weight loss :-)
  17. Haha itl be a challenge and a half lol and alot of expense haha. Il take it easy don't want to rush etc and there is sooooo much to do! Stitch welding the whole chassis is going to take aaaagggesssss lol Thanks mate and will keep the thread updated :-)
  18. Thanks guys, and yeh il go mental on it, but want to retain the base of the car I.e i Still want it to be a starlet. IMO spaced front end and 3sgte For example isn't a starlet.. IMO. Looking at having a carbon roof made to replace it :-)
  19. only got it a couple of days ago lol! and nah 4e track mate
  20. Hey all, Went on a little road trip the other night to sudbury to pick up a cheeky ep91 n/a... auto... WIN..lol. will be my 6th starlet now so time to get the ball rolling again! Obviously she needs alot of work to be done, but its a straight shell which is all i was after and due to the auto box sounding like 1,000 ball bearings in a tumble dryer, i picked it up for a cheeky 200 nicker so far so good! i was abit dissapointed to find it had a sunroof when i turned up so a new roof skin will need putting on, manual conversion and full track turbo build and a paint job is the route im goin
