  3. she should be fine For a good while mate, power is well within bottom end capability just keep oil up and keep it cold with a good ammount of fuel and you should be fine.. Oh and always cool her down properly after ;-)

  5. Yeh something in that region. .6 bar on hybrid so effectivly .8 on a ct9 so I should imagine 155-160bhp.. I think it's all down to how you drive the thing aswell, it was taking ctr's, tegs etc etc without too much trouble... haha that's the way ;-)
  6. I know mate it's crazy, never had any sort of accident and going through insurance etc.. It's just ridiculous hassle. It's like you pay them all year or for years in my case then they make you do all the work out of cheek aswell!

  8. yeh anything that is a degreaser if you want to stick something.. brake / clutch cleaner, halfords do a foam style degreaser, or just meths works aswell.
  9. Update : Did a compression test tonight as the old girl has been using abit of oil.... a litre and abit in just under a week.. It appears not to be throwing it out the back according to several different people who have followed me and it is not leaking... it has baffled me a little.. anyhows results are as follows...... cyl 1: cyl 2 : cyl 3 : cyl 4 : They all apear to be between 150-160 which i am happy with tbh, its not the highest but its consistent and surprise surpise the cyl that was lowest was no.3! its not used hardly anysince since i gave her a top up after track..

  11. Indeeed it is, my mate who owns a bodyshop has pushed alot of it out and it looks sooo much better as it was creased at jf2... It sucks and does ruin the car but she will get fixed ;-))

Haha, if you crash you crash, thats the mentality you have to have, thats the last thing on my mind when out haha, im just "abit competitive" lol and i will take anything on haha nah mate, i think it was 7 cars id done before i reached the rx8. took 3 in the first bend, one of which was krissyb in his fiesta st lol... id forgoton about the rex and had my eyes fixed on that grey ctr that was pulling away from the rex earlier in the vid.. which i passed on the final lap down the straight after we both did someone round the outside on the last bend = result!! haha!
  16. indeed mate, the spec is so bad aswell haha and its only got 160ish hp i reckon. I am abit of a nutter when i get into it on track ha! ( in a good way she gets pushed HARD lol )

  19. Update : And now for some bad news..... Some penis reversed into the o.s.r qtr pannel going through her insurance so hopefully itl get something back towards fixing her... got her quoted at work today... £1500-£1600... uh-ohhhhh
  20. Update : So when i brought the car, the collector had dropped off the manifold..... bad times.. so it was in two pieces. I took it into work and got one of the guys to get his "racing pidgeon" out and sew it back together haha!! And then fitted it the friday before Japfest 2... and gave her a quick clean after....... and added my lovelyyy 2x option & zep stickers

  23. this was filmed from the guy who had the silver rx8... hes been at most shows on track and gee was up against him at the first japfest for those who where there.. skip to 11:25 mins and the commentary about the "starian or whatever it is.... no its called a staranza.. oh right yeh" begins on the sharp harpin before the final straight haha! i found it pretty hilarious....
