need to sell mine first to pay for them, but they are gonna be pink! and the speakers made a tonne of difference. i can actually have my parcel shelf speakers disconnected and still hear the radio perfectly. did a test with a decibel meter on my phone with the same song at the same volume setting and the new speakers were on average 6db louder

Due to starting a new job and other stuff its been a long time with no updates!... not that there is much to show. anyway.... fitted some new under dash speakers: also my wheels are FOR SALE if anyone is interested? need them gone to make way for something a little different that will hopefully make it stand out some more ;) So basically atm im rolling on some ghetto as f*ck 13" alloys. the straight through is off due to a policeman noticing it was a little loud ;) the starlet will however (once a daily is sorted - fingers crossed) be coming off the road towards the

that is very quick! mines around 10/11 seconds

low 8s?!?!

throttle cables tight, serviced at toyota dealership 3k ago, full straight through, k&n panel filter and lowered on coilovers. cant understand whats going on at all :/

clutch is a little worn but not by much, still launches pretty well of the line. probably is the reason thouh...

HOW?!?! I dont get why mines so slow :S what have you got done to yours mate? Sam.
-
So, reason for this is I've seen a few people on here and a couple of lads I know with N/A starlets that are either bog standard or with rolla mani etc that can manage atleast 110/120mph flat out and both of my starlets have struggled to get anywhere past 95/100mph. They have been pretty damn quick to 80ish (which is all i really want) then lose all puff. I know its not very relevant only being a 1.3 and its unsafe on the public road but I want to know if theres anything i can do to help? cheers, Sam

bet that thing fucking flew! got any pics of the engine mounts? measurements etc.

good little cars the polos, had a fair bit of experience with them. main things to watch are: gearboxes electrics electric window cradles break easy water leaks around boot and doors, and rear light clusters RUST also stay away from cheap coilovers. they seem appealing but the ride will shake your teeth out. other than that their pretty bullet proof little cars. my mates building a 1.8 20vt 6n and its damn easy to work on, he also has a 9n daily which is a c*nt to work on. stick with the older dubs and you'll be sweet. Sam

banded steels they looks fucking sweet!!!

thanks mate, and yeah fitted it myself, welding was done by me and one of my mates as i dont have a welder. it sounds pretty good but not 100% sure if its down on power or up. when i first fitted it, it was a little more responsive but not a lot. just need it to go as fast as it sounds hahaha

dont get a new car! stick with the starlet, this thing is EPIC. It would look insane with a livesports wing, seat cupra r splitter and wrapped matt purple + sort the rear arch ;) its money but cheaper than a new car....
-
cheers lads and it's a seat leon cupra R splitter Dan, and cant really get to the towing eyes no :/ improves the handling well though! Sam.
-
UPDATES. wheels are ON!! 1 finger arch gap ;) also got my strut brace thanks to Steed and sprayed it. gonna do the rocker, drums and calipers the same colour and sprayed the manifold.STILL waiting on the gasket ;S now roll the arches and go lower and start on the false floor for the rear Sam.

hi all, had my D2s on for about a month now and they have wrecked my tyres. Is there an optimal camber setting on the top mounts? or anyone tell me how to adjust it to stop it eating tyres. the tracking is a little out but shouldnt cause that much wear Sam.
