Comp test was done cold. I don't want to be warming it up in case I do more harm. Cts is what exactly and where?

When it started causing issues yes. You do mean when the problems started arising, yeah? When the engine was from cold as such it was just a funny idle every now and again.

Perhaps but on a previous visit a small oil leak was noted on the belt side. So I might just get the head done anyway.....

A comp test revealed my comp tester is shit. 25 25 75 50 Eek! A new comp test3r revealed: 150 150 145 100 A lot better. I need a better idea as to what's causing the stalling and high oil temp etc Recovery to TD me thinks for diagnosis

Oil fine, coolant fine....

Drove it home fine to a degree. However it looks like when the engine hits warm the probs start. Stalling started again when slowing down. Oil temp hit 110ish on normal mway driving. Car seemed like it lacked power, engine seemed to make a very slight drumming sound, only slight and not constantly. Water temp stayed quite normal Gonna comp test it, check fluids etc Maybe the trip to Dave B meet might have helped the engine in its way......

Thing is the race SPEC is less restrictive than the previous catch can setup. So I doubt its that either....

I put new leads on after the issues but it hasn't seem to cure it. So doubt its them.

Why would that start all of a sudden.....? Bloody engines. I did notice white smoke from the catch can, but I guess that's just condensation from the hot vapours

Took her for a little run around the camp. Didn't cut out but dropped revs a little when at idle or slowing..hmmmm
