  1. looking good mate same rad as i used on my last v and my new 1 to great addition to go with the rad is a cool running or low temp thermostat dude just to give you a heads up on that 1 well worth putting in if your running that rad ive found
  2. best bet is to speak to your tunner/mapper mate to get an idea of what your set up will be i'e turbo mani exhaust dizzy to coil conversion what management you will be running standalone or piggy back and other surporting mods get to gether all that you plan to do and run with you engine and what you want to use the set up for i'e drag time attack or just track ect and see what the overall best option is

    use 6k mate. although your not supose to use them in cars that dont have headlight washers now
  5. yer mate i did its been sealed wit ptfe tape so it wont leak or owt i wanted afuel lap 1 but im on a tight budget and time limet at the min

    my misses cat .witch is damm nastie sometimes bite chews claws climbs attacks ect ect .she love it more than she love's me it alos gets more room in the bed than me witch is just not cricket

  8. does the fuel feed from that pipe where ive got my braided line coming from or is it the pipe at the other end where you put the fuel rail adpotor .but does the fuel have to feed in threw the bottom of the reg ? also what is the line for on the right hand side of the fuel rail if you stood looking at it with the big banjo nut that goes threw it think its a 17mm or somthing
  9. you see where the braided line come's off the solid pipe under the filter then travels up to the bottom of the fuel reg is that how youve got yours mate ?

  11. pisses you off when you cant even park ya car outside ya own house .on my last v id just had mt bonnet sprayed in and expensive black pearl .bin at a car show 5 min and 1 them stupid nurf ball things landed straight on my bonnet .then 20min after that 2 lads where messing around fighting fell on my bonnet .then it got a right old scratch in it .i went nuts but the misses went off on 1 more than me .they soon legged it when she started lol
  12. ive fitted a sard fuel reg to my car now ive used the braided fuel line thats replaced the orignal pipe that then had the long mental pipe onit that ran along the back of the fuel rail .ive removed that and gone with my braided line from the solid pipe near the back of the gear box to the bottom of the fuel reg it this the right way round cheers pic below
  13. ive got an exedy stage 1 clutch in mine still nice and smooth has abit more bit to it but is easy in traffic ect
  14. i hope it holds boost as i bought it second hand my uncle's checked it over and there's no play in the shafts of owt and does'nt look wet or any oil anywere was just wondering weva to weld the crack to be on the safe side thats all
  15. ive got a tongs gt spec hybrid turbo and it's got a crack in the internal waste gate just wondering will it be easy to weld up .or would it be ok to run with the crack its not a small crack but its not big eaither .just wonted some views befor i bolt it onto the car cheers
  16. just get a hks ssqv as its a pull type blow of valve and does'nt leak when your cruising at say 60 i had bailey's did the same changed to hks problem solved
  17. use a pair of good vice grips place the shock on the floor put the vice grip as far to the top of the shock as you can then just stand on them to clamp them shut as you'll never get them tight enuf trying to do it with your hands. then just wind the nut off the top and do the reverse to re-fitt your new spring mate also use spring compressors as if you you dont the top mount will shoot off and if it hits you in the hand you'll know about it trust me on that 1

    cpould be mate also maybe your water pump or the water pump gasket worth checking those first befor ripping the head off also get a gargae to do a sniff test and also a compresion test bud
  19. well had a quiet afternoon at work today so thought id get a few jobs done on the glanza . 1st started to fitt some of my blue vacum hosing and also mounted my srad fuel reg and part of the braided fuel line aswell also got a quick snap of me new front mount and hard pipe kit aswell amd the bit that took me over an hour polished the intake housing on me turbo
  20. if you used a diesle box could you not change the the final drive gear so it wasen't as bad ratio's /.also my uncle has had his gearbox cryo frozze and braced on his astra coupe that runs 500plus and its fine now .ill try fined out the companys name who did the frezzing process .cryo-tech springs to mind but ill have a check .just a stap in the drak aswell but what about the celica gt4 box or the gears out of it maybe

  22. got a few more bits done to the car over that past few days here's some pic's for u guys enjoy 1st off my bottom civic rad mount that i fab'ed up my self then gave it a lick of satin black looks well i think # then with the rad mounted on it just need to make up a top mount now and got the manifold heat wraped and fitted aswell . along with my cam cover and timming belt cover painted in 1ao .also my new trd oil filler cap that turned up this morining in the post.
