Should have my new exhaust tommorow and i'm just wanted to know if this heat wrap will be ok to use on it? Clickyy Planning on buying 3 of them so 30m of the stuff. Will this be enough to rap a Japspeed cat back?

'cat back' is the type of system mate. It means the exhaust fits from the catylic convertor back. The one I've won is a cat back mate

Ignore me! Just paid for the one on eBay loll. He's just sent me an email after he compared it to the Japspeed fitments are they're exactly the same! I'm always weary when parting with money so sorry foe this thread lol

I spoke to 2 different people when I called up. When I asked if it was a direct copy of the Japspeed/J-perfomance and they said no but it's very similar. It also has a 4.5" tip instead of 4". I emailed them telling them about the mistake I made and a mate of mine (joshuaj on here) is going to be selling me his instead. His has only been used for about 1000miles, if that, so I'm fine with that peace of mind as well lol

Rang the company again and they said it isn't a copy of the Japspeed but it's very similar. Really unsure on what to do lol

Rang up the company and they said it's made in the UK but i don't think it was a j-performance one either. He said another company? Still worth it? Lol

Was bidding on an exhaust on eBay which had exactly that same description and picture as the Japspeed ones that are always for sale. I ended up winning it but then soon realised it didn't say Japspeed anywhere! Here's the link: Click It looks exactly the same so would it be worth getting still? Havnt paid for it yet if you havnt worked that out lol

Well after a couple of hours watching a Japspeed exhaust on eBay i came out on top and won it for £102! Really pleased with the price and can't wait to get it heat wrapped and on the car!

It's the back plate you can see in the picture mate. You can see the top of it just above the disc

Well the brakes are on the car but not without its problems! The back plate is rubbing against the drivers side disc brake which is very annoying and most probably will damage the disc. I took the calliper and disc back off today but there is nothing i can really do to push it back or move the disc forward Anyway, besides that problem everything else went ok! Havn't bled the whole system yet but did go around each caliper to remove any trapped air. Will be beeding the whole thing sometime next week BONUS as well, found out that i have braided brake lines Obviously havn't tested the brakes out properly yet as im still bedding in the new pads but compared to the brakes that were on the car.. MASSIVE difference already!

Thank god! haha. I'm unsure what i can do to move the backing plate away from the disc :| Any suggestions?

Took the discs off and found this on the inside! :| ] The shit shield has been scraping loadsss, that's what has been making the noise! (Streetracer Starlet thankyou!) Please don't tell me these discs are foooked?

Only concern i have is that the brakes were making this noise before i fitted the new brakes, not as loud but definitey this noise. And only when turning right. My old brakes were a solid disc with no grooves. Confused.com :|

The curved part of the pad is on the outer edge of the disc? Is that right or wrong? lol

I didnt use any copper grease but it doesnt sound like that sort of sound. Also it only realy does it when im turning right? I've managed to get a video where you can just about hear it when im going round a roundabout. Wil upload shortly.
