  1. Thats the first thing i tried but there's no way that will work unfortunately :|
  2. QuadcoreCraig did not state this in his add and he is now not texting me back or answering his calls.. Typical.
  3. Tell me about it! I text Quadcorecraig a few days ago asking what the actuator was set at but he didnt reply.. So if i text asking about what he had this fitted to i probably won't get one! It was sold to me as a 'WEPR' td04 kit so it should be a WEPR downpipe
  4. I don't get why it doesnt fit though if it was designed for the starlet? Unless i've been sold a gt kit and there not the same as the glanza kits?
  5. Well after the ball ache of getting the old manifold/turbo/downpipe off due to a snapped bolt, just lined up the new kit and the exhaust doesn't match up to the downpipe! So fu**ed off! What shall i do next..?! :|
  6. Wooooooooooooo Done it! haha
  7. Just removed another bolt which has resulted in the bracket becoming loose and the pump being able to wiggle slightly. What else is needed to get this bugger off!?
  8. I think its just my retardedness but the power steering pump seems really hard to get off? I have adjusted the one nut down which holds the pump up and removed the 14mm screw which goes into the side of it but it still isnt budging? Is there move that needs to removed? Thankyou!
  9. Since fitting my Japspeed system nothing much has been done to the car. Met up with Starbuck last week some time for a bit of a boost and we both noticed a blueish smoke coming from the exhaust. At first i wanted to cry because i thought it would be my engine (thinking the worst ) haha but then after taking my intercooler piping off everything became clear! I had a lot of oil in the piping which points to turbo oil seals but luckily i have something to take it's place.. Got this kit from Quadcorecraig at a good price. Originally wanted to go for a Racetech externally gated kit but for the
  10. Sorry for the super late reply! haha. Cheers for the kind words I got my cable ties from the bay and they worked perfectly well tbh!
  11. Cheers for the replys guys. I can't budge the turbo at all, with and without the intercooler piping on. I'll see if i can borrow one of those swivel joints off a mate, if not, i'll remove the power steering pump
  12. What tool did you use to get to the bolt out from behind the turbo? Or did you have a better manifold to work with? lol
  13. Well started stripping the car down yesterday to get the new td04 kit on but one of the manifold to turbo bolts has snapped! It doesn't look easy to get out either.. picture: Is there anyway i can get the manifold bolt that is behind the turbo off so i can remove the unit in one piece? Then i can deal with that bolt after.
  14. Poor little ct9.. haha. Will have a cheap hybrid for sale soon then!
  15. Welcome mate Pictures > words... Get some snaps and your problem will be sorted in minutes!
  16. Think i have found my smoking problem! Starting stripping the car down to fit the TD04 kit, took off the hot pipe side of the intercooler and there is too much oil in there for it to be normal! Oil seals gone! Lucky i've just bought a td04 kit. Does this really mean that the new exhaust may have blown the turbo? Doesn't make sense..
  17. Bad news on the engine dude. hope you get it sorted asap Car is looking good! Crazy that your mate has a rolling road, save you some money haha
  18. Agree with everyone else on the finance front! Just buy what you can afford now. Clio's are not mod friendly at all either. The only way to extract some power out of them is to turbo/ supercharge them; 1. your talking ££££ to get that done 2. Not sure if they have developed a turbo or supercharger kit for the 200 yet? Orr... You can buy a car which IS mod friendly AND already has a turbo. Oh and forgot to mention this will save you about £15,000 I know what i would do! haha
  19. I hope it is the heat wrapped exhaust! I'm going to get a compression test done anyway just to eliminate that side of things (hopefully).
  20. Same number of boxes and the diameter is only bigger on the pipe that goes over the rear axle (think it's about 3"). The rest is 2.5", same as before.
  21. Its a full Japspeed exhaust but the design is spot on so can't see that being the case :|
  22. Well Starbuck was behind me and he said it ranged between white and a bit blue, also said that it smelt?
  23. I know there is a lot of questions asked about 'why is my car smoking' etc however.. About a week a go i had my Japspeed exhaust fitted and when i go out for a spirited drive and then let it idle afterwards i get A LOT of smoke coming out the exhaust. This never happened when my old exhaust was fitted, i'm boosting the same as i always have and the car feels no different to drive. Water levels, oil levels are fine. A mate of mine (Joshua.J on here) had excessive smoke come from his Japspeed exhaust when it was fitted (only smoked on idle after being driven). Both of these exhausts that we bo
